Re: 21st Air Base, Swidwin - Poland

OK Gents, I think a little deep breathing is order here before people that are regarded as good citizens over step the boundary. I feel that none of us here is under the age of 18 and therefore we should hold ourselves in check rather than others having to step in to maintain order. Now my remarks a...

Re: Does anyone want a JYAI repaint?

Not to labour a point here nor even dampen your enthusiasm but you have the HTAI C-130J which has been around for some years plus a new C-130J about to roll off the production line so I am curious as to why you would paint a C-130H as a J? The only reason that I can think of is that your scheme is n...

Re: When writing FSX AI flying programs

I can only speak in general terms here. What you are saying is correct in that if you get a large number of aircraft landing whilst aircraft are waiting for take off then you can and will get aircraft that timeout waiting for permission to take off. The thing here is that it is a period of not movin...

Re: MAIW KRMGMK Pilatus PC-9 Conversion Support

The line, if it still works, would be applicable to any aircraft that has props and uses it. I understand that you may not be completely aware of its use, but I think my comment is still valid for this reason. You knew it had to be related to props so You could still check to see if there is any dif...

Re: MAIW KRMGMK Pilatus PC-9 Conversion Support

So if I understand this correctly, you asked a question 18 months ago and are still waiting for an answer. The thing that puzzles me is that you haven't looked at an aircraft's prop in game to see how it looks, then commented out the line in the config file, then rechecked in game. Why? Now, i can't...

Glad that you are getting closer to what you want. Don't forget to keep a copy of your modified afcad safe or the next NA update will wipe it out with the original MAIW one.

If it is a manual process then it could take some time, same as here when a package gets put up. We wait for a human to intervene.

Re: FSUIPC Location

In the FS9 version doc it says that the file will be installed in FS9\modules, what does the doc for the FSX version say?

Could it be that you are trying to use the FS9 version?

Re: JY Hunter single-seat FSX model

Tim, I do know what you mean. When I am testing an fde/aircraft I always rename my Aircraft folder to Aircraft_Full and create a new Aircraft folder and just copy in what I need. It loads a helluva lot faster. You don't need to worry about scenery or traffic files just the aircraft. A useful tip if ...

Re: JY Hunter single-seat FSX model

How does it actually look in game?
The reason I ask is that there is at least one chopper that shows the main rotor as being vertical through the fuselage in AIAE.

They are not numbered. The numbers seemingly joined to 'TNG' are in fact the day of the week, exactly the same as non-TNG legs.

Re: A question about TNG's

I think that I should have clarified my statement about the TNGs. I assumed that the aircraft were taking off to do circuits at that location, in which case what I said was correct. However, if they are taking off to do approaches at another base then you set the leg to fly at the normal cruise alti...

Re: A question about TNG's

I always set them to be 020, but when they are under the control of the local ATC they will override what you set. So the 020 is more of an aid to me than anything else. You can set anything you like within reason.

Re: Black Spots on Parking Spots and Runway Scenery Problems at NAS Lemoore

There doesn't seem to be anything there, I assume that the search for KNLC was equally fruitless. Now I think we need to be clear about the timeline. When you flew out of Lemoore and everything was fine, was that before or after you installed the Matrix? You see the weird thing for me is that after ...
