Re: Does anyone have Lakenheath F-35 plans?
A simple trick here is to double up. Make some singletons a pair, make some pairs a four-ship. Easiest way to increase numbers.

Re: Help with JASDF UH-60 SAR squadrons
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond but for some reason I missed this post.
In short, I don't know myself, but I would say that if you have any listing whatsoever then that will likely give you the numbers.

Re: MAIW_WSMG F-16's
Thanks, Mark. Found out something else as well. In the aircraft folder you can have the .cfg file, the .air file and the model folders but if you have any texture folders the process seems to get sidetracked and not apply the reflective parm. I spent 30 mins trying to get it to accept it before I tr...

Re: MAIW_WSMG F-16's
OK. I think that I have solved it. It is very bizarre. It seems that you have to load the P3D version, export it to FS9, then import the FS9 version then make some changes and re-export to FS9. All of this without touching the material editor. It seems that the second export adds the transparency re...

Re: MAIW_WSMG F-16's
OK Thanks guys. It is quite plain in those pics from Mark. From what you seem to be saying is that there is no alpha showing but the schemes definitely have it. Now with what Hartwig asked last night, it seems that I may have to junk everything and start every conversion from scratch again, once I f...

Re: MAIW_WSMG F-16's
OK I have a problem here. After several tests with several F-16 versions this is what I have found. 1. None of them have any shine off the canopy. They all have tint but no shine. Not even D-30 coded 020. 2. The material settings for D-30 020 are exactly the same a the other D-30 mdls. I loaded up a...

Re: MAIW_WSMG F-16's
Kev, Read your posts but the screenies show the P3D options. There are far less for FS9. Now it seems that MCX has changed the colour settings during the change. I have started my testing by altering the settings to match the P3D ones. Mark, I will also look at 020 to see why that looks better to you.

Re: MAIW_WSMG F-16's
Kev, there is a material editor in MCX and I can see two textures. I did not alter them as part of the conversion but I will check to see what the originals have and test one conversion to see what it has an alter it to exactly the same. The Emissive and Specular parms only allow for RGB colors. Dif...

Re: MAIW_WSMG F-16's
I don't know much about paints for models but I do know that FS9 can't have white alphas. If they are white the aircraft become shiny, at least with what I have found with other models. I will test one in game to see what I get. [UPDATE] Ignore what I just said, I am an idiot. I got it the wrong way...

Re: MAIW_WSMG F-16's
Thanks for that, Mark.
I will ask Kev if he has any experience on the canopies and tail pipes. Not having P3D I am of course not aware of them, but I am hoping that Kev knows about that. It maybe that I would have to alter a colour parm for each model.

Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
In short, what Greg is saying is that the server PHP that we use needs to be upgraded as does the phpBB, which is the forum, because it has got infected. That we believe can get sorted out by backing up all the posts and then upgrading the PHP software on the host followed by upgrading the phpBB for...

Martin, just to let you know that the MAIW link above was to your original AIAE and not the .Net version. I have altered it to avoid any confusion.

Just a note guys.
The original upload of the update 1 pack, containing the glazed nose Mosquito B/PR.IV, was missing the textures for these aircraft. The zip has been updated to include these so you should re-download to enjoy the schemes for these models.

Pete,
Sorry to butt in, but Martin said earlier that due to a new component you need to download and install version 27 to finally fix the issues.

Re: Help with JASDF UH-60 SAR squadrons
Well to start with you are correct. Koku Kyunandan means Air Rescue Wing. This has detachments on several bases which is why when you look at various bases you will see Koku Kyunandan as a unit. So we get to the crux of the matter is there an up to date listing of where each aircraft is based? The a...

XML for Newbies Part 10 - Advanced Visibilty Code
There is a nice little visibility option that you can employ to enable the user to change the visual of a mdl. This is using the aircraft title from the aircraft.cfg file. a) Example 1 - simple additional visibility part <part> <name>vis_conformal_tanks</name> <visible_in_range> <parameter> <code>(A...
