Re: Omega Tanker repaints & FP ?

Just uploaded to flightsim.com, so it should be available soon. Might do their KDC-10 as well and maybe some flightplans if I can find time ;-)

I read some stories from soldiers who went there. It sounded so bad I just had to create this one ;-) Now at least you can prepare yourself in FS too, dustoff

I have one flying in NASA colours; it works, but it's a little heavy on the frames and not totally accurate. Wings are swept back during takeoff.

Re: What I have been working on...

Thanks for the nice words :-)

I will try to share the scenery and flightplans somewhere this coming weekend. I will also make a list of the waypoints and airfields I used and provide the ones that I made myself.

Re: What I have been working on...

Al Udairi/Camp Buehring about finished now; added the USN medecav team and two MQ-1 Predators. All AH-64 and CH-47 helos from Simmons AAF are deployed to this desolated sandbox. Take-off and landing takes place simultaneously from the runway and the primary taxiway for smooth AI traffic operations. ...

Re: What I have been working on...

I admit that it's a little heavy on the frames

Mostly around 50 when flying the Alphasim Blackhawk. Worst case: FPS around 30 when all objects and AI aircraft are in view. That's on my E8400 @ 3.66 MHz / 4GB RAM and GeForce 8800 GTS 512 @ 680/1007.

Anybody knows about a paintkit for Nick's Apache? If it's available I might take a look at some Kuwaiti Apaches...

Interesting. If you look at the north-eastern field you won't see any construction works. Maybe it's a mock up airfield for target practice?
