Those Norwegians are stunning!
Will there be a paint kit for the Merlin? I'd like to paint up some export Merlins so thought I'd check before i make a start.

Re: Agusta Westland Wildcat
Superb pack thank you to everyone involved for bringing us Yeov's and the Merlin/Wildcat force! The only thing I have found was when I was changing the direction of some of the parking bays in EGD5,when I went to save, it threw back an error regarding the links pointing to a runway 36 which didn't e...

Re: JYAI Merlin HC4
John, I agree the other historics wouldnt be worth doing right now. The only thing I could thing of is the Chipmunk based there. The remaining green examples would be very useful. Completely understand about not wanting to do the other examples, you deserve a break. I do wander if the radar nose ver...

Re: JYAI Merlin HC4
Thanks Vortex, I had to watch a video to confirm it, but I agree, the tail rotor disk ring on the Wildcat is far too bright. Easy to fix though - I just have to drop the same toned down rotor texture into each texture folder. John No problem, I can't wait to see your amazing work up close thanks ag...

Re: UK 2021 Defence Review
I've heard the 9 Chinooks are 9 older ZA serials that are stored at Boscombe and have not been upgraded from HC4...the legendary Bravo November is one of them. It sounds like a few C130s will be kept for Special Forces as the A400 doesnt have all the capabilities signed off yet...not to mention a la...

Re: paint request for John's ai Gazelle!
I'm afraid the raspberry ripple pair and the red one are no more. I would really like to paint them and the more recent blue boscombe examples but life is very busy at the moment... If nobody beats me to it (which I hope they do) I will have a crack at them at some point! The Boscombe and Northolt A...

To the best of my knowledge this is the current state of play: 7rgt conversion flight: ZB691/S XZ334 ZB674 XW846 D&T: XX405 Others at Wallop (Could be pooled, D&T or for the conversion flight): ZA766 XW847 ZB665 Credenhill: (Usually flight of two here) XZ290 The other could be any of the abo...

Re: Aerospatiale Gazelle
... And after re reading your post I just thought I'd say that your video of the lynx taxiing through the gate would have been a trials Lynx (usually callsign Devil) which were always based in the D&T hangar. The duty Gazelle is usually ZB691 and usually sat at that spot too but obviously you ha...

Re: Aerospatiale Gazelle
Hi John The compound is/was the Apache compound. The short runway was only ever used by them. The Gazelles usually sit outside the D&T hangar by the museum and taxi out past the museums car park. I've drawn on your diagram how I usually see stuff depart and arrive. I've been going to Wallop on a...

They're normally only applied for the return home after a deployment. Though I'd still love them in sim looking like that!
