Right behind you Greg. Not of much use (just pleased with myself for navigating back in here :P ), but right behind you!

Re: Thoughts on the next project

Thank you all. Anything recorded here remains very useful. It took me a few years to work through the previous proposals, so I have plenty to consider going forward. For the current project, I'm now well advanced with the KC-390 modelling (what a good suggestion that was) and I'm tempted to make th...

Re: Thoughts on the next project

Another long-shot for Chinese airfields: Most numerous helicopters are Changhe Z-8, Z-10 and Harbin Z-19.

As an aside; any painters here want to dress up the APAI H-65 as a Z-9, the JYAI S-70 as a Z-20 or the SBAI Mi-8M as Mi-17/171?

Re: Thoughts on the next project

I like the Chinese mentions. I have lots of empty air bases there now  They still have hundreds of old school (no pun intended) Nanchang CJ-6 trainers flying, for something unusual to do? Still top on my wish list though is the Yak-28P, even just to see examples of the last regiment in the Arct...

Re: Anybody want more (simple) scenery?

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Enjoy the flashback Jorgen! I wish I'd taken more care over 'my' 1980s Ballykelly now, but struggled a bit selecting hangars and other buildings. I contemplated doing an RAF version for the Shackletons & visitors, but 60s/70s is beyond my scope and I don't have...

Re: Anybody want more (simple) scenery?

Part 9 uploaded: More simple scenery for air bases I can't find anywhere (though I have since found a few for previous parts, sorry). I started all this by filling gaps in flight plans, but have got a bit carried away as you can tell by now  About two fifths of this collection are in China. Sc...

Re: P3Dv4.5 crash on startup

Just over 1 year on, and I had more P3D startup crashes with ucrtbase.dll named as an accomplice. Just an FYI for anyone, as I think I have fixed it... When I finally realised I was having the same error as last time  I went through the same procedures. The problem lay in a different add-on re...

My belated thanks to bismark, jimrodger and Greg too.

Jorgen, if you can't find what you need and it's on my map, I've probably got it somewhere.

I've found this in my backups. I presume I got it from MAIW, but not sure about "2018" as the files in the zip are dated 2005 to 2021.

Re: Waypoints

This is embarrassing :smt005 I'm such a geek that I have a map. It's split into five layers that won't be of much help to anyone. As you see, I started it from a file I found here somewhere in 2018. Then I added those from Matrix, and so on over (a lot of) time. I could probably hoover up the bulk o...
