Re: F 18 Hornets not loading properly
Thanks Steve for your patience. I saw that the F 18's existed in Oceania once I re-read your message, so I removed the duplicate SimObjects in BOTH MAIW and P3D. That cleared it up and P3D is operating again AND the Hornets are still in place. So I didn't have to uninstall/re-install, although I did...

Re: F 18 Hornets not loading properly
Thanks Steve, Martin. Sorry to be a pain - but this has to be right. Steve says..."Simply put why would you have dupes? Even if the names are different between those two folders but they are representing the same aircraft/schemes then get rid of the ones in the simobjects folder." Get rid ...

Re: F 18 Hornets not loading properly
Thanks again Steve...I will study your advice carefully and see if I can get P3D to run without 53 separate clicks!

Re: F 18 Hornets not loading properly
Ok thanks guys...I am getting there. Now they only exist in two places (one of them is wrong). They exist in MAIW SimObjects and also P3D SimObjects\Airplanes. Does one of them have to go also?

Re: F 18 Hornets not loading properly
Yes it does... I just went through the P3D files carefully looking for dupes and there seems to be a folder under SimOjects\Airplanes - with the Hornets along with everything else...and another SimObjects folder in the same location, guess what? only containing RAAF Hornets. I think this is the &quo...

Re: F 18 Hornets not loading properly
Thanks Steve...yes used the Matrix, but in my enthusiasm could have loaded them twice. I remember being disappointed that they didn't show up first flight. Not sure how to correct it though as the "inner workings" are a mystery to me. Any help appreciated.

F 18 Hornets not loading properly
Just back after total re-build of computer. Loaded installer - global and Williamtown fighter base. Tried to load the F 18 Hornets and this message is appearing in P3DV4... There are multiple objects with the same title name. They must have unique title names." Then it lists the Hornets in SimO...

Re: MAIW NBAI FA-18 Hornet Family Conversion Support
After some time away from it, I loaded P3D flying a Superhornet out of Williamtown Australia and was astonished to be surrounded by Hawks, Wedgetails and Hornets. I was fourth behind two Hawks and a Hornet for takeoff. The only change I made was to start hot at a Mil ramp instead of the active. The ...

Re: MAIW NBAI FA-18 Hornet Family Conversion Support
Thanks Greg...I'll just wait till the RAAF Hornets are converted to P3D and then install them on Oceania, which I have. Cheers.

Re: MAIW NBAI FA-18 Hornet Family Conversion Support
Me neither Greg...I thought by downloading the Hornet family I would get hornets on the Oceania/Aussie scenery - but those RAAF Hornets have not been converted to P3D yet. Lack of patience.
Is it going to be a problem having the MAIW installer on the wrong drive? Thats the main issue.

Re: MAIW NBAI FA-18 Hornet Family Conversion Support
Sorry folks - I have boobed big time. I have put the MAIW installer on the wrong drive...DCS instead of P3D. Is there an uninstall process I should now follow to correct this?

Re: MAIW NBAI FA-18 Hornet Family Conversion Support
Downloaded the files, followed the PDF and still no Hornets. I have P3D loaded in a separate SSD (not C), which is where I am trying to put them. Should they be going into the C drive\Programs\ P3D folders?

Re: MAIW NBAI FA-18 Hornet Family Conversion Support
The RAAF aircraft and scenery for Williamtown appear to be available for FS 9 only. Is this correct? I am using P3DV4.
