Re: Century Series (American Heavy Metal)
Mike, thanks for all your hard work with the Century Series. As an Air Force Brat growing up on the 60's, very familiar with all these aircraft. I was just watching some B-52D's and some 13th FIS F-101's beat the pattern at Glasgow AFB. Just need to add some KC-135A's.
Thanks again!!
Thanks again!!

Re: Air Force Base Diagrams
Matt,
Can I send full size files via PM or maybe give me an email and I have them out to you today.
Ken
Never mind, looks like 256k is largest for PM.

Air Force Base Diagrams
With all these new retro aircraft joining the AI scene, thought I would offer Air Base diagrams from the mid-1980's to anyone interested.
Let me know.

Glasgow AFB
Just wanted to say thanks for the AI B-52. I decided to quickly tweak Glasgow AFB (07MT) since it doesn't really have any traffic going to it. As an Air Force brat I spent two years there between 1964-1966. The attached screenshot contains some quickly added hangers and buildings and a basic photosc...

Century Series looking great. Very nice work. Looking forward to adding F101, KC135A and the already released B-52D to the beautiful Glasgow AFB, MT.

SpitfireGt6,
Yes the two large hangers on the Reserve ramp. Thought I got them initially, but somehow I missed them.

Yes, your models cannot be downloaded anymore. But to see how it works you could try to download someone else's models.

Re: U.S. Air Force told me to remove Google Earth Scenery
Most models for Google Earth done with Sketch up can be downloaded. Have 3D models enabled in Google Earth, left click when the model is highlighted (blue color), click on model picture in the dialog box and you should have a drop down that says "Download Model". Usually the choices you ge...

Re: U.S. Air Force told me to remove Google Earth Scenery
Hey SpitfireGt6, Sorry to hear about it. I was wondering what happened to your 3D Models. I had downloaded a few of the DAE files in a possible attempt to learn how to do my own FSX scenery. Your models were great!! I see they are they are still visible on Google Earth, but not downloadable anymore....

KC135 Parking Radius
Hey guys, Just installed the new GLANG Pt1 package and replaced PAI KC-135 with the MGAI KC-135. While checking out the parking codes with Owl AI-Aircraft Editor (making sure the codes were the same for KGUS), I noticed the parking radius for FSX is 7, whereas the PAI KC-135 is 22. The editor says t...

Thanks,
I had the Plains package with the KC135E's. Only have the R's from the 127th. Some of the IAB R's went to KFOE to replace the E's.

Re: Parking Ramp Markings
Hey Mike, I just purchased FSDS and downloaded both of the files you made. I know nothing yet about FSDS, I did open your two files and compiled them as mdl files. I then created a library file with those two objects. The box looks and works perfectly but the red semi circle still shows the black bo...

Re: Runway edges
If you are talking about that green stripe between the runway and the ground texture, I read somewhere a while back that you if make the runway link more narrow than the runway itself, those go away. But I think that also affects the edge stripe when to connect to a taxiway. Ken Forgive my ignoranc...
