It appears that you cannot have any type of aircraft land on a moving carrier in FS9. It is just not allowed for in the 1's and 0's of the sim itself. I think that all PAI packages from before the revamp were dropped. The only real PAI packages now are the ones on the front page. (It stinks because I wanted their old El-Al package to complement the Israeli MAIW pack.... but its gone! WOAI hasnt done one yet either....

There is a model at hovercontrol.com that I had for a while. It isnt very good TBH. The refueling drouges were ALWAYS out, even on the ground. Plus the model seemed to be a bit on the small side. If you dont want them you could shoot off an Email to the designer, I'm surprised that the statics are not optional, unless they are part of some museum I would not want them there either.

That looks like a top notch add-on. I would download it just for the Hong Kong enhancements... but I really dont want to put a defunct airport in the sim.

Check the scenery files for any .bgl's that say anything about Orions or static planes... I find that most designers have options to remove static aircraft.

It wouldnt suprise me if perhaps the next FS would be a full combination of Combat and Civilian, especially when FSX is already halfway there. (I bet somebody could easily make B-17 style missions using the same tech as in the flour drop mission)

So the airport that HAS scenery works fine... but my Ben Gurion has trees and the tarmac, buildings in bad places, and aircraft crowded around a non-existent terminal.... any thoughts? Is the AFCAD made to work specifically with the freeware Ben-Gurion Scenery? Perhaps I missed something...
