I've just uploaded the FS9 versions of the Valley and Brawdy Hawks. Thanks to VulcanDriver for testing them for me.

Re: Looking for the USCG MH-65 Dolphin

The second leg starts at 21:23 on day 5 and ends at 00:42 on day 5. This makes the flight almost a week long. You need to change the end time to 6/00:42, and then change all the subsequent days to match.
Hope this helps.

Re: FSX/P3D Trainer & Fighter Conversions

Thank you Steve. You are correct 63 an 151 squadron were part of 2 TWU at Chivenor. I haven't painted their aircraft yet, but they are on my to do list. 63 sqn and 151 sqn became 19 and 92 sqns in 1992, and then moved to Valley around 94. I painted the aircraft as they were in the mid 80's, this was...

Re: FSX/P3D Trainer & Fighter Conversions

I have just uploaded the FSX repaints for the RAF Valley and RAF Brawdy Hawks. I still have to convert the paints to FS9 format. Hopefully, I'll get that done over the next couple of days.

Re: FSX/P3D Trainer & Fighter Conversions

John, sorry but the textures are in .dds format so they won't work with FS9. The textures are flipped in .dds format. I'll see if I can release the paints in DXT3 format for FS9 as well.

Re: FSX/P3D Trainer & Fighter Conversions

I've started to paint the FSX NBAI Hawk with the Red/White paint scheme. I've still got a few to do to finish them off. I'll try and get them finished and uploaded this week. I've also painted the Brawdy Hawks. I didn't realize there was an FS9 set out there. Anyway, I'll upload those as well. Does ...

Re: JYAI USMC KC-130T

I use gimp for my repaints. I export the paint as a .jpg in gimp and then convert it to dds in DXTBMP. Note in gimp you have to use export for the paint, and select the format you want. Save only saves the .xcf file. I found exporting as a .bmp gave funny results when converted to dds or dxt3 so I a...

RAF Laarbruch Tornados and Jaguars

I've finally got round to getting my paintbrushes out again. I have uploaded repaints for the Tornados of 15, 16 and 20 squadrons and the Jaguars of II (AC) Squadron based at RAF Laarbruch around 1988. These use John Youngs Tornado model and Henk Schuitemakers updated version of Nick Blacks Jaguar. ...

Re: Thoughts on the next project

John,

I'll be happy with whatever you choose to do next. A JP would fit nicely into my retro 1980s setup. I would love to be able to add the Brawdy based Camouflaged T4s to my sim.

Re: Help needed: Tucano

Steve Thank you for working your way through all the old flight plans, that's a huge project to take on. Typically where the RAF has centralised servicing, and I think that's becoming more common, individual airframes are not allocated to individual squadrons. Squadron are aircrew based units with a...

Thanks for that Greg. That worked perfectly, I now have Bruggen looking as it should, for my own use only of course.

Re: FSX-SE Transparency Issue

Thanks for your replies I have DX10 preview mode turned off. This has caused other problems with textures. It is the FS9 version of Manshy's Bruggen I have installed. I thought I had installed other FS9 scenery without any issues, maybe not. I guess this is a consequence of running FS9 scenery in FS...

FSX-SE Transparency Issue

Hi all After a lay off from FS after replacing my PC, I decided to install FSX Steam Edition. After installing Manschy's Bruggen as a home for Johns superb Tornados, I noticed a problem with various transparent objects, mainly trees, but also ramp lights, antennas, anything with a transparent textur...
