Re: JYAI Boeing KC-46A’s

Not to go too far off the subject, the 757-200 does not use heavy in the US. The 757-300 is over 255k so they do use heavy as standard. The 757-200 is treated as a heavy in all phases except cruise because the wing creates a huge wake.

Re: Thoughts on the next project

The US Navy just started accepting the AW119 as it's new training helecoptor to replace the Bell 206. The Bell 206 and 207 are also well represented in the world armed forces and government agencies.

Just reuploaded the 415th SOS with 10 airframes. Lewis, I also sent the zip to your e-mail so you don't have to wait until it gets to the hangar to start the texture conversion.

As the creator of the paints, feel free to post the fs9 conversion. I'm going to double check the sereals I included, I may have included some outdated sereals.

Re: John Young's F-15 paints

John Young had done paints for the 104th FW in FS9 and FSX a few years back. I don't think they were ever released though, I still owed him an AFCAD for KBAF. I had given him plans and found 3/4 callsigns for the unit. Unfortunately, I had a hard drive failure and lost my AFCAD I was doing for the p...

Tanker 131 was done by Ray Parker on the HTAI C-130. Not sure any of the UH-60's were painted.

While not a perfect solution, adsbexchange has searchable history by serial number. It's not perfect, but it can find a home airport as long as they aren't deployed.

New 737 Testbed

It looks like the USAF has a new sensor testing platform and is using Junkyard chic as a paint scheme, complete with 100 mile an hour tape.

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

The easiest way to identify the A model, at least in USAF service was the wing tanks. Even after swapping the props and nose, the wing tanks were mounted where the refueling pods go on later versions. I don't think anyone uses those tanks anymore on the remaining civilian ones.

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

I'm not sure if the Minnesota ANG herks are even on your radar yet, so this is just a suggestion. You may want to wait and bundle MSP's airframes together if they're somewhere near the top of your list to make an easier install down the line.

Potential Piracy

I was on flightsim.com today and noticed a payware scenery for Dyess AFB. It also mentioned that AI was included. The AI included looked suspiciously like the NBAI B-1B, HTAI C-130, and HTAI C-21. Was this authorized, or someone looking to make a quick buck? https://store.flightsim.com/product/team-...

Re: Where is this RC-12X based?

There's a few pictures on Flickr that say JB McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. A quick investigation in Google Maps shows they are on the north ramp of KNEW sharing the airfield with the NJ ARNG.
