Re: Oshkosh 2022

Day 3 from Oshkosh 2022, another cracking day of perfect weather & great aircraft. The Warbirds of America segment was once again superb to watch. 79. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52271588847_3ab40ff5fe_b.jpg P-51 Mustang by Dan Reeves , on Flickr 80. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/5...

Re: Oshkosh 2022

Here are my efforts from day 2, still plenty of arrivals today & A couple of surprises as well, the CF-5D springs immediately to mind. More military arrivals today with 2 USAF T-38's being the highlight for me, there was also a third that came in from Beale AFB as well but I was on my way back s...

Re: Oshkosh 2022

Thanks Dan. I was particularly looking forward to your post and was not disappointed. I was pleased to see CAF's B-25 "Devil Dog" still going, having modelled and painted it a few years ago. Keep them coming, it's a really interesting place. John Thanks John, "Devil Dog" was an ...

Re: Oshkosh 2022

I did manage to track Dan down on the third day of the show after a few days of us trying to connect. His mate failed to hit the correct Iphone button to take our picture together so Dan's anonymity is safe for another year lol! Should've checked my phone before I said goodbye! Thank goodness for s...

Oshkosh 2022

First time going out for EAA Airventure Oshkosh held at Wittman Regional Airport & this event did not disappoint in anyway. more than 10,000 aircraft in display means that at certain times it is the busiest airport on the planet. & with 1 pilot telling me that they were in a stack 100 miles ...

Re: RIAT 2022

Thanks guys, RIAT certainly seemed to pull it out of the bag this year. Here's the final part, the Friday show & a few arrivals & rehearsals as well. Weather started off nice but soon defaulted to overcast skies, still some of the stars of the static arrived, a Top Aces A-4, the Swedish hist...

It's not released yet, but they'll be part of my Fairford 1989 package. There's some screenshots of them in the "Dans bits & bobs" thread

I have attempted them for a package I'm doing. They're not perfect, not by a long shot, but they're better than nothing

Re: RIAT 2022

Thursdays arrivals & rehearsals, some more gems arrived on this day as well. The Romanian An-30, German A340, Brazilian KC-390 & Italian AMX all spring immediately to mind. Heat haze was the main issue of the day, it wasn't extremely hot thankfully but enough to cause some strong heat haze: ...

RIAT 2022

After a 4 year hiatus (for me anyway) RIAT returns to RAF Fairford & the line up, while perhaps being a little short on numbers because of current world events, promised a superb line up. Even the weather for the most part played ball with it being warm & sunny most of the time. Although alm...

Anatolian Eagle 2022

This was my first trip overseas post covid & it was well worth the wait. This was a organised spotters day ran by the Turkish Air Force for the Anatolian Eagle exercise held at Konya in Turkey. Perhaps the exercise should've been named Anatolian Falcon due to the amount of F-16's in attendance, ...

Re: Dans bits & bobs

Well here's what my next release will be, this is a project done by myself & a Msoden1991. It is a RIAT interpretation of late 80s, where possible we've used the actual aircraft that turned up for either the 87 & 89 shows. They are all on 8 week flightplans with the USAF bomber deployment ha...

Anybody else having issues with the Do-28 bouncing around whilst parked up in P3D? Both myself & a friend of mine are having the same issue. I've tried messing around with the CG & static compression but with no success. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Re: Dans bits & bobs

Uploaded some repaints for the RAF VC-10s as they were in the late 80s early 90s They should be available soon. That said this is small potatoes compared to what myself & a friend are working on right now, no spoilers just yet but it's by far & away the most complex project I've ever underta...

Thank you so much for this conversion! For the traffic files why is there two plans for the Bulgaria Mig-29's? Is there a difference between them? (one is named MAIW_MiG-29_BulgariaAF_FSX.bgl and the other is named Bulgarian Air Force MiG-29 Fulcrum_FSX.bgl) It's my pleasure. MAIW_MiG-29_BulgariaAF...

Re: Dans bits & bobs

Flightplans & repaints for the US Navy P-3's, 368 repaints, have just been uploaded to the hangar. There's a few units missing for varying reasons but the vast majority are there. Enjoy Next project is also a US Navy package, & a USAF one as well eventually, & thankfully quite a bit smal...
