Re: East German MiG-21s

Just a quick heads up on this, the cfg & texture files don't seem to match. The cfg should be "East Germany AF_215" but reads "East German AF_215" for example. This is the case on all paints & entries from the cfg file

Re: JYAI Jet Provost and Strikemaster

Thanks Steve, I understand ETPS and "TESTER". So if I picked "CWL" for Cranwell, or say "CFN" for Church Fenton how would Editvoicepack annunciate that, assuming users wanted audible call signs? John In EVPX you can programme it to say it however you like, that's a fairly simple process to be fair....

Re: Army Kubinka 2019

Here are the shots from the 2 departure days, pretty much everything that was on static departed except the bombers as I've mentioned, the An-148 & we missed the Il-76MD90A as well. Weather was very good on the most part as you'll see & there was some lovely surprises as well, especially the Tu-134A...

What a great set of photos to come back with Dan - interesting and unusual and first class in quality. Thanks for the post.

Army Kubinka 2019

Earlier in July I went to the arms forum called "Army" at Patriot Park just outside of Moscow. I spent most of my time at Kubinka Air Base but if I'm honest I went mostly for departure days mainly to catch what I call the aviation holy trinity, the Tu-22M3 "Backfire," Tu-160 "Blackjack" & the Tu-95M...

Re: AI Il-18, Il-20, Il-22 & Il-38

Here's a screenshot of the Il-38 taken in MCX. The package itself is an old payware product from a couple of years back so it's decent in terms of quality. The textures from the old Pavel Hvatkin (CalClassic) models sort of work on them as well, although the flight deck is completely different so wh...

Re: Thoughts on the next project

Some great suggestions here for sure, if you fancy something a little different how about the Il-18 series aircraft, could make some great retro stuff with that & still used by the Russian Air Force & Air Koryo

Re: transparent canopy???

It is also possible to use dxtbmp as well, that's what I use. It's very simple, firstly load the texture, click Image & flip it, then click Alpha & select Create Alpha Template & click yes when asked to override the current alpha. Save as a DDS (DXT3) job done. I then use MCX to check if it looks ri...

Re: Dans bits & bobs

Just uploaded a shed load of Russian callsigns to the hangar for use in FSX only. They're based on this website:http://www.udxf.nl/Russian-Air-Force-Callsign-List.pdf You'll have to use you imagination a bit but that link will give you an idea of what callsigns to use for certain aircraft. Cheers, Dan

LOL. Surely the answer to that, Martin, is EVERYTHING!

Closely followed by what have you got?
Pretty much exactly that :D

There's a lot of dead links on there I notice, got the sceneries I wanted no problem. The ai package with the Il-76, L-39 & An-12 looked nice, but that's a dead link.
