Re: Underwing tanks on the Super Hornet
Hi guys, sorry for the late chime in here. The Super Hornet does in fact have canted pylons. The legacy Hornet does not but due to some design issues early on in the Super Hornet program, and when carrying a certain weapon, they decided to cant the pylons out...3 degrees I believe.. This has been a ...

FSX Scenery and MAIW packages....
This may be a stupid question, however here goes anyway.... When I did the tutorial and changed all my MAIW Packages over to FSX it says: Register the folders in the FSX Library To add the new MAIW folders to the FSX scenery library, start FSX, select Settings, and then Scenery Library. Make sure to...

Re: Growler wins against F22!!!
Isn't it about time you started shooting the away team? It makes your friends very nervous. Hahah, that's the point of this whole thread I think....Nobody is shooting any away teams right now...in the air at least. So it's all simulated, using the home team. That's why it's just dumb to paint...

That would be awesome, I would like to see that. Anyone know how to make a Section or Division fly together? I've seen a few planes flying near each other, is that just an anomoly, or can you make 2, 3 or 4 ships fly together?

Re: Aircraft lights Entries in the .CFG file: Explained
Where does it show the position in of the Taxi/Landing lights. On most models like the Hornet, I want to replace the stock light with Shockwave lights, but I can't find an entry for the Taxi/Landing light anywhere: [LIGHTS] //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing light.0= 2, ...

Re: Growler wins against F22!!!
Huge discussion on this on a naval aviation forum I frequent. Funny too as the Growler has no gun! Maybe Rotorhead can chime on this story about a Bug vs. E-2 shoot down after the Hawkeye crew bailed and the plane kept flying. That is a true story, an East Coast E-2 caught fire on a flight over the...

Re: "So that others may live...."
Victory what is that face mask thing the crew chief is wearing in the third picture? Some sort of ballistic protection or something similar?? It's designed for the crew chief/gunner to be able to hang outside the aircraft inflight and still be heard on the ICS as the air rushes by his boom mic. Pre...

Love the retro flight suits, I'm guessing you're on the front row kneeling. Do guys actually fly with them say "Friday patch" days? You are correct, I am in the front row and I am wearing blue....but which one? In Lemoore, Wednesdays were club days, so we always wore the "sh*t hots&q...
