Re: 1990 era SAC Bases (Scenery)

@VulcanDriver Hi John, Several years ago you wrote above, that you "have a Turner AFB scenery converted from FSX to FS9 that looks OK in sim". I'm surprised because afaik this air base has never be done. I only remembered having seen a WIP picture with a Vertol H-21 at former Hovercontrol.com. Do yo...

Adapted Hamaguchi's jet refueler to be used as AI in classic era (here at NY Idlewild).

Re: AI Vehicles

There was this driveable RAF Alvis fire truck at UKMIL which I use as AI ground traffic at Boscombe Down and suitable with classic era.

Years ago I searched for a suitable scenery and got only the same one. Certainly, it isn't the best scenery I have ever seen, but by far not the worst too.

Some years ago I created this FS9 ground traffic with movable vehicles called "Digger".

Re: AI Formations

Have a look at the flightplans for any of our packages that contain airshows or flypasts and you will see how complicated they can be. It needs some time to create such flights and adapt ADE, but not that complicated. https://c2.staticflickr.com/4/3815/9647094427_918e886eda_b.jpg https://c2.staticf...

Re: Bristrol Sycamore as AI?

Meanwhile I tried various .air files of MAIW AI helicopters, but all I got were CTD's. Sycamore seems definitely not be suitable as AI.

Re: Bristrol Sycamore as AI?

Thanks to all trying to find solutions.

@Col. Dragonfly would work correctly as AI, but is some older than Sycamore. All heli used up to now fly as well as possible while
using "stemme_as_helicopter_1.bgl" file.

Bristrol Sycamore as AI?

Has someone tried to get Bristol Sycamore flying as AI? I could let flying almost all classic helicopters as AI. However up to now I haven't be able to get the Sycamore in the air. Thanks for any helpful advice.

Re: [NEED HELP] AFCAD for HELI

While we are talking secrets of helicoper AFCADs, if you have used a 1ft width runway to make it invisible, that may cause you to have aircraft that won't take off. Sorry, but that isn't thru. I reduce them with AFCAD 221 to a with of 0.4 ft, the narrowest possible, and it works. BTW, unknown surfa...

Re: Swedish Air Bases of cold war

A while ago I "dissected" the book "Mcdonald Air Power Guide" published in 1963, certainly the best and only source with informations about deployed aircraft and for some countries even the air bases at beginning Sixties. Here what the book relates for Sweden: F6 -> A 32A Lansen F7 -> A 32A Lansen F...
