Re: John's Junk

Following a kind request I have looked at this structure again. The Tower at Volkel AB I have been trying to get the window frames visible without using too many polygons. I resorted to an alpha channel for the frames. Got it to work in FS9. Not very neat though. This is still not textured properly....

Re: John's Junk

John, thank you for the encouragement.

This scenery is in its infancy.

New Buildings and new textures that I am dreaming up. There are not many images out there.

Only the T hangars have textures on them.

I will continue but it will be some time yet.

John, Thank you.

Mine is for FS9.

Re: John's Junk

In light of another superb AI release in the near future, I have decided to wade into this venture.

LFRH Lann-Bihoue, Lorient.

Early days for the Buildings but I have been tinkering with the Afcad for a month or two now.

Re: AFD from FSX to FS9

I have used FSX to FS9 for many of the older afcads. If the airport has been heavily modified then it will not compile in FS9 because some of the details in FSX are different. Most of the time the XML file will be created. Manual editing of this XML file enables me to import the basics into ADE usin...

Re: NH-90

The AW-139's are Basic CHC scheme as good as I could get it on the JYAI generic model.

Will have to paint on flotation equipment or move parts from other paintkits

Sadly the scheme does not go onto the Italian Air Force 3 model.

If there is an interest I can forward them also.

Re: Sinking AI

Dale

Which mode are you in when you watch the airport traffic? Normal or slew?

The problem might have to do with the aircraft themselves. Try watching in normal mode.

Re: Sinking AI

Dale The difference in altitude would be between two airport sources, the default airport and your project. The elevation of the runways and taxiways will be the same as your airport elevation of your project. The elevation of the flatten must be changed to be the same as that of the airport you are...

Re: Sinking AI

Dale Steve is correct. Use the change airport altitude function in ADE. This creates an alt file which is sent to the base scenery file so it loads first. Scenery\world \scenery in FS9. In FS9, all this .bgl includes is the airport header with your desired altitude. The flatten file only affects the...

Yes, Peru.

Unfortunately without 043.

That paint scheme is beyond me for now.

According to Scramble it was written-off earlier this year.

SVBL El Libertador AB Venezuela

This modification greatly improves the water features and roads for South America in addition to other improvements. Enough of the back ground. I would lik...

Re: John's Junk

Thanks for the interest John I have contacted Brent. At the time of my offer I did not realise how much work the buildings, these and others still required. This post is more to get some idea if the objects bare enough resemblance to the real thing to be used to enhance the scenery. The airport layo...
