Re: NH-90

I would suggest changing the Aircraft CFG.

Model entries would then read:

model=RANNL_ST_14p_M1

and

model=RANNL_ST_20p_exttankA_M1

The ST refers to the intake and exhaust configuration.
The rest of the model folders in the whole series are named in a similar fashion.

Re: NH-90

Australian NH-90's

Model included: "ADF_ST_MED_exttankA" is incorrectly named and should be "ADF_ST_MED_exttankA_M1"

The Royal Australian Navy models:

RANNL_14p_M1
RANNL_20p_exttankA_M1

are in the folder LHAI_MRH 90 Taipan RAN

Re: NH-90

Thanks Miljan I knew subconsciously that those colours were not accurate. Comes from Looking at Promotion Images. While I did not use Miljan's colours, it get me looking at other sources. The colours on images differ due to a number of reasons. This is what I came up with. Looking less out of place....

An improved depiction of Italian Navy.

Hopefully a believable representation of French ALAT.

The True Hero of this story is Lukas "Proximo" He has created this set of models and made numerous modifications, despite having personal challenges, work pressures and a lack of free time. He has made numerous changes on request and I believe has a very detailed set of airframes ready for release. ...

Re: Keesler AFB AFCAD

I have uploaded my version to the library. Made with ADE and Sbuilder. Devoid of buildings. If someone has an interest in expanding the scenery I will supply the image I used and instructions on how to place the image in ADE. The bgl should import into ADE for FSX so I am told. Gulfport-Biloxi shoul...

Not official.

Need feed back on models and paints.

If you want to have pre-release input send me a PM.

PROXIMO is getting the series going again but he does not have much free time.

Here are some pics.

Re: RAAF Pearce

Steve If you look at the models in the Stewart's model fix, using MCX, they are the same as those in Stewart's posted images. Those models are not referenced in the scenery placement .bgl that Stewart supplied with his scenery. You can get each object's GUID number from MCX. (Model Converter X) Ther...

The model lib provided matches the images at the top of the string.

The models are not referenced in the object file.

Colin Sadly, I have not done any work on it. I oversimplified the models so creating textures proved too daunting. Until now it had not dawned on me that I could divide the edges and use more textures. I will not have time until the new year anyway. Don't hold your breath or expect a highly detailed...

Re: Modeling using XtoMDL

I should have engaged my brain before replying. Given this more thought. Try linking the trailing flap to the wing. Failing that. Remove the animation from the main flap. Animate the full sequence of the trailing section with the main flap at 0. Once complete, link the trailing flap to the main flap...

Re: Modeling using XtoMDL

Sophie

Just a question.

Is the animation correct when you check it in the sim?
I have seen some strange things in MCX which are not so in the sim.

Have you tried animating both flaps in turn at the same key frame position?

I may be creating noise but I hope it helps.

Re: Panavia Tornado

John

It is possible to reverse parts of the sceneries to FS9.

There is a way to reconfigure the GUID to FS9 format but it is manual at this stage.

Some objects will convert backwards but some wont, depending on the Creation Program. It does take time though.

For those of you looking for the models and associated files of the Dornier Alpha Jet A.

The smallest one I could find is: gaf_alpha-jet_jbg_43.zip

This can be found in the Avsim library.

Re: Nigerian AF

My apologies for dragging this out. I have the Alpha Jets painted. Five camo E, four grey E and four camo A. It would appear from the few photo's I have looked at, from which I could deduce the location, that the Alpha jets are based at Port Harcourt City airport/AB. Recent satelite images show two ...
