Re: Lossiemouth and Brize Norton Projects

Will this work in FSX? Gary Sorry I'm very late to the party with this but I have not had time to sit down and fly since late last year so having remember about Brize I went and got it and installed it only to be greeted by a g3d.dll CTD error every time I tried it. In the end I came back here and ...

Re: Fairford

My "Fairford for FSX" from 2009 is freeware if you can find it on one of the download sites? Plenty of standard parking and you're more than welcome to redo the ADE to fit with what you want and the release the whole thing again??

Re: Lossiemouth and Brize Norton Projects

Very much looking forward to this one. Being local I've had my own flatplan and flight plans since they changed the layout of the place but that's as far as it's gone. I've never attempted scenery model design which is what will make a scenery IMHO so taxiing past a realistic Base Hangar, terminal a...

Re: RAF Leuchars for fsx

Pretty sure I've got Ian McCartney's FS9 scenery running in FSX thanks to his (manual) update package to make it run in FSX so although it's not native it works with a decent FPS. Sorry, got not links to hand easily at the moment.

Re: Movements page

Hi guys,

Any movement (sorry!) on this?

Just got the new rig running and want to go through all packages that visit the UK to make sure I've got them.

At moment I can scroll through what look like African countries but nothing else?

TIA!

Buffs... still going strong but any for AI??

Hi all,

I know there are several pseudo AI B52s out there, but does anyone yet have a lead on a good solely AI model please?

I'm guessing the answer will probably be in the negative as there hasn't been a package from here, but I thought there was no harm in asking the pooled wisdom!

Thanks,
Dave.

Re: Really selfish suggestion for MAIW packs... ;)

Hi all,

just wondered if there was any update on this feature with the current flurry of packages would be a very handy thing to have to see which if any of the flights visit the UK and its bases?

Dave.

Re: C-130 Parking

Ralph, I've not been down there myself for a few weeks but as far as I know, they are using the new pan (as is everything else!) and also the old 101 Squadron pan nearer to the 08 end of the field.

Really selfish suggestion for MAIW packs... ;)

Evening all, I'm probably not the only one who rarely (if ever) strays outside their own national airspace so this could apply to other people as well  What are the chances of providing a 'bases visited' list with future MAIW packs? The reason I ask is that I don't really want to overload my r...

Re: Coming soon.....

On a UK basis, (and slightly deviating from the main topic) is the much-mooted Red Arrows pack still undergoing work or has the sad withdrawal of NB from FS work caused this to go the way of the Harrier?

Re: An impossible question?

Many thanks James for confirming that.

I also found that AIFP shows all bases visited by a traffi cfile which will make thinning them out much easier!

Thanks!

Re: An impossible question?

Thanks for all the help so far, I should make a bit clearer than in my original post that I'm using FSX so the utilities recommended cannot find the required traffic files although ACA2010 does look to be one answer :?: If I was to go down the route of of deleting skins and editing cfgs, would i not...

An impossible question?

Hi all, as I have just about every MAIW pack installed, I fear that the addon scenery and sheer number of AI models that FSX now has to load is slowing my machine down to an alarming level. As I very rarely stray outside UK airspace, I'm planning on copying all MAIW AF2 / AFX files from the individu...

Re: RAF Lyneham AI??

Hi Nick, thanks very much for that - I did get sent the original JBAI package last night but have since failed quite miserably to get them to appear on the deck at Lyneham in FSX on Tony Meredith's Lyneham scenery although for some reason they do seem to be appearing in the air :?: Might try from th...

RAF Lyneham AI??

Hi all, a quick thrash through all the usual sites has come up with no results for the above search. I used to have the JBAI Package in FS9 and was hoping to give it the AIFP FS9-FSX treatment but cannot find it anywhere and the Hercs from the David Mackie package (Lyneham2) seems to be a garish ora...

Re: Rays Reds

Downloaded and installed Rays Red Arrows and took a quick peek; I've had to cheat and use Scampton as my UK2000 Waddo hasn't got spots for the reds - YET!! Cheers Sorry to but in, but I've been looking for an AI Reds package for a while (even just static ones) and wondered if this was on freeware r...
