We make to you the apologies for the delivered inconveniences.

Re: Locating correct texture files

I'm using modelConverterX. You can open a *.bgl library, take a look to the content, and you can see the name of the texture files belonging to the model.

Thanks for the kudos! ... As far as I noticed ADE9 (I have FS2004) doesn't allow you to assign a designator to the taxiways (but you can assign a number to the parking spots). ... Hey James, you can assign a designator to taxiways. First add (+) a name, then you can assign this name to a taxiway. R...

Re: Unsure on saving a airfield in ADE9

Sorry - I meant terrain excludes and airport backgrounds.
ADE9 use the microsoft bgl-compiler of SDK2004. AFX use a selfwritten compiler like afcad.

Re: Unsure on saving a airfield in ADE9

You can read in the forum fsdeveloper.com, there is a subforum ADE.
I think you can't do excludes and airport backgrounds with ADE9 (only with ADEX for FSX). You have to do it for FS9 with SBuilder or a programm like this.

Re: Aviano ADE scenery

James, this is a setting of the operating system. I don't have Windows 7, only Windows XP. I Think this is under Regional and language settings. ModelConverterX must have a period as seperator. You can change it (and later you change it back). You also can set the region settings to UK or USA. I hav...

Grape, please go to KNQX with an user aircraft i.e. Cessna or so and look for sinking. I have tested the file developed by Jim Cook. The user aircraft don't sink.

Re: Sinking Aircraft

It has nothing to do with the .air or .cfg file, because the aircraft is correct on the other part of the airport. Is the sinking part the apron you have added? It seems that there is no flatten or the altitude is incorrect or something like this. One problem is: Jim Cook has used AFX. AFX uses not ...

I make a background image in sbuilderX, change it to jpg (or bmp). SbuilderX writes a textfile with coordinates. In ADEX i add the image with the coordinates and have the exact position and scaling.
