E-2 Hawkeyes in the UK?

Last week, I heard a prop plane at about 15000 ft heading south, and it looked like an E-2, so grabed the bins and was convinced that's what I saw. I naturally thought it was transieting the pond to some hot place via Mildenhall, as I have seen Egiaptian ones in photos passing through. Today, depart...

Was in the village at the time of the crash on a job (ambulace service), didn't here a thing and was no smoke. If our patient hadn't of travelled, we would of been first on scene. At incidents like that though, the Raf don't let civil ambulance crews near the flight crew. A SAR seaking was on scene ...

Does anyone know of any that have passed through the UK?
Watching that vid makes me think if I took a quick glance thinking I could hear an F-15 from Lakenheath, that it could of been an F-22 :!:

You also have to bear in mind that the MH-53J's have just left the UK as well. From memory I think these only performed one rescue in the mid 80's picking up the crew from a tanker ship off the east coast. Could or would the new blackhawks that are at Mildenhall or Lakenheath ever be called into act...

If it completly disintigrated in full flight then fair enough :!:
Remember the F15 that lost a whole wing and still landed safely.

If I am making any sort of new file/flightplan I will alway use for testing purposes a default aircraft, in your case the 747 would be best.
This then confirms if the flightplan or afcad is at fault and not a known working AI aircaft.

Air race

Hi all Yeah I know this has nothing to do with military stuff, (and understand if this is removed), but just wondering if anyone is going to the redbull air race in London today? Tried last year (sitting onto of a hill at Longleat for 6 hours in the wind and rain and saw nothing). Going today for on...

Hi all,
One quick question, if you have the UK2000 version of EGUL, do you disable it in the same way as the readme in the Coningsby package states
eg. remove egul.bgl / egulexc.bgl / egultaxi.bgl?

cheers

There is a file on avsim (I think for 2002) that included an aircraft carrier with ai helos doing tngs and possibly landing as crazydunc was after.
I have it downloaded somewhere but I'll see if I can find the file name and post it later.
