For callsigns, I would go with :

VMA-211 WAKE
VMA-214 BLACKSHEEP, RAM, SHEEP
VMA-311 CAT, DRIVER
VMA-513 NIGHTMARE
VMFT-401 SNIPER

good luck with your project. :)

I agree. I would love to see the military aircraft with their full capabilities. I'm on your side. I'm also surprised that there isn't a mod out there that gives full capabilities to military aircraft. Definitely beyond my understanding of the FS engine.

Quite simply it's not politically correct to have warplanes shooting down airliners in a sim. Pardon the pun, but it just wouldn't fly. Sometimes 'as real as it gets' is a little bit too real.

I just read a blurb that the Air Force has put out a feeler for the possibility of converting old F-16A's into target drones. But it will be a while before that ever happens. This is only an initial request for information. Oh, and thanks Mark for all the repaints! I have every single one. You do so...

I does appear that the C-12J has been transfered to Yokota from the 517th AS to join it's other 2 C-12J sisters , but I believe the 2 other C-12's, which are F models, are still there. (84-0147 and 84-0148).

I have SIMS in my database but I think it is really old. JESSE is the only callsign that I get active milcom hits on for the 180th AS.

I hate to be the one to tell you that those are not B-52 serials. They are T-37B serial numbers. The only B-52's in a museum on foreign soil are one in Duxford (59-2596), one on Guam (56-0586), one in Seoul South Korea (55-0105) and one in Darwin Australia (59-2596). BTW, G models were only made up ...

99% of my sim flying is military, so when MAIW converts to FSX then I'll follow suit. Until then I'll be happy with my tweaked out FS9. No offense to the FSXers out there. It's always good to know when the packages are cross compatible.

I like to use ScanAFD to check for duplicate AFCADS. This usually solves most of my AFCAD problems along with using the fault finder.

You're right, Flyboy. But other than that, it works exactly as the old AFCAD program by Lee Swordy.(except it also works in FSX) They must have bought the rights or something.

And they want $29.99 for it!

ell that solves the mystery of the REX callsign. I know some milcom guys got hits on that one last week. They knew it was probably a B-52 but the REX callsign was unusual.

But I'm sure the FP's can be easily swappped for the F-22 AK repaints
