AI and On-line flying

Hi Guys This is from a friend who flies on-line. Can anyone help? Is there any way of flying on-line and still have the AI traffic in place? I do my VA on-line flying with IVAO, with the avowed intention of having lots of traffic to dodge around and to fly under realistic ATC. In reality the flight ...

I've had this problem. Its to do with the altitude set in the underlying MS tile used in FS9. You can change by using JABBGL which is at AVSIM.

May be able to resolve your problem.

Hi Adam

You need AI Hide which is at AVSIM as bbqhideai.zip

Works a treat and I use it all the time. It does batch updates so you can hide all the AI a/c in one click.

Goodwood Festival of Speed is also cancelled. Pity as I was eager to see Lewis Hamilton do a hill climb in F1 car!

RAF Fairford Saturday show cancelled

Just read on the RIAT website that Saturday's show is cancelled due to the heavy rain. There will be refunds available but Saturday tickets WILL NOT be able to be used on Sunday if the show goes ahead. :(

Hi Steve

AT LN. All I see is the runways and taxiways in the underlying photo-realistic scenery not the MAIW scenery. The AFCAD is working as the a/c a located outside the HAS. Just can't see any taxiways etc.

Re: Lakenheath Scenery/Ai package.

For some of us who have UK2000 Scenery installed, you also have to remove the Afcads and all other files related to EGUN ( MILDENHALL )as well as the files for EGUL for this scenery to work, ie buildings and AI were visible but Runways/Taxiways were missing. Are you aware of this? Was there a fix f...

In the days of the Thatcher Govt it was suggested that the British Army sold their armour to a private company and only rented it when needed! I imagined British tanks with Hertz rental stickers on them. Crazy!! Anything to save money, now I hear that its suggested we cancel the upgraded Nimrod. Rep...

That's so bad! It looks like some kid just used PhotoShop to replace some colours. As a Brit who grew up during the 1960s the SAC badge was a symbol to me of the West determination to confront the Soviets. It was on par with the RAF Bomber Command badge. Boy was I p'd off when the British Gov't merg...

Hi Marv

Yes they do wear RAF markings and carry RAF serial numbers plus squadron markings. Currently they operate out of the RAF base at Kandahar.

Just remove the G-V from the aircraft folder. Then they won't appear in the IDF flightplans.

Please check it, all further input is welcome. Now I go to LLBG AFCAD and when I'm finished I think I will upload the stuff to Avsim, I hope that no special allowance for that is needed from any of the respected original author? OK with me as I'm the original author. That's what the game is all abo...
