Marv is right. Airbus use barges for the A380 wings:

Other wings are air freighted using the Beluga aircraft built by Airbus for that use.

I think you have to change the afterburner lines in the aircraft.cfg so it points ot the new effect. The lines looks like this.

light.6 = 2, -24.75, -2.45, -2.80, fx_f16_ab
light.7 = 2, -24.75, 2.30, -2.80, fx_f16_ab

fx_f16_ab needs to be changed to name of the replacement effect.

Any news of the pilot. Really hope he's OK. Many years ago when I worked for private warbird collection I was the last to wish "good luck" to a pilot who left to fly to an airshow display but his a/c crashed on approach to the display and was killed. Left me in shock for days. One of his f...

It may be machine / video card specific. On my old Pentium 4 PC it cured the blurred textures I get, sharper colours and faster loading of textures. I also got a slight improvement in FPS.

Faster machines probably would not need it.

Just a thought

Typhoon doing it stuff

Two vids taken at RIAT 2005. Not sure if the pilot was very skilled or very lucky!

Nice paint job!

Had this sent to me. It was photographed by someone in the UK forces in Afghanistan and it is flying operationally there at the moment. Like to see a FS version! http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb46/VulcanDriver/Mi-24Hawk3.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb46/VulcanDriver/Mi-24Hawk2.jpg ht...

Particularly poignant as my local Church is the official Royal Marines church here. Several of the guys haven''t come home this year. So young, and so many youngsters without a Dad.

Indeed. Harold Wilson wanted the UK to send troops to Nam when LBJ asked in 1968. (Sound familiar? Only the names have been changed!) Dennis Healey, who had fought all the way from the D-Day beaches to Berlin, told him not to even think about it. Wilson refused and saved us all the grief that would ...

One project at a time. Right now, I am still getting my head wraped around traffic editing. Thanks for the tips. I have the Tornado, I may just settle for Just Flight's Typhoons. And watch your FPS tumble. I'm afarid most commercial so called AI stuff does not cut the mustard. Look at the AlphaSim'...

Have now installed the Simwings version and its extremely good. Talking of the A380 has anyone cracked how to get Robert Versluys A380-800 to take-off within the runway distance. When I try to get it airborne she sticks firmly on the ground!
