If you look on Avsim, there is two sets of scenery for two NAS's, Whidbey Island and North Island. they have some pretty good military hangars, which you can use Rwy12 of Abacus's EZScenery to place.

I've drumed some personal flightplans for the AF V-22 fliying out of Albequerque and Hurlburt Field, using the Alphasim V-22. It's not the best, but it does in a pinch. Only problem I have with it it the fact it has one hell of a time landing where it's supposed to

Ian,

Do you want me to wait on the AFCAD until you are done with your scenery, or do you want to me spin one up for you to create scenery around?

Not really, wasn't much hangar shots, except the shots in the distance when Cruise is on the motorcycle and the shot of them al in the hangar when they meet Charlie

I will get on the AFCAD this week, should have it by this weekend.

So, do you guys want me to recreate Miramar, as it was when I was there? Wouldn't be to tough to do, since I already have a new one for the current config. The Mig-28 in the Topgun movie was actually F-5E and F-5F (twin seat). Those planes were actually the planes that Topgun used as aggressor plane...

On the question of AFCAD's, I made up one for Miramar, back in the day, with the original parking spots for each of the squadrons, including Topgun, the reserve aggressor outfit (VFC-13), the Fleet Replacment squadron (VF-124), the reserve airwing (VF-301, VF-302, VAW-88) and the E-2 squadrons. I ha...

Yep, their last plane went right into the Air Force Museum on the base. They are getting C-5B from the different sqaudrons that are currently flying them. The last C-141 flight made was the same plane that brought the POW's back from Vietnam. She was still in the same paint scheme that she wore duri...

I worked on the F-14 Tomcat from 1982 - 1985 with VF-2 Bounty Hunters, 1989 - 1992 with VF-1 Wolfpack and August 1992 with VF-24 Renegades. I was stationed at NAS (now MCAS) Miramar the whole time during the heydays. At that time, there were around 170-200 Tomcats on the base. The roar of the engine...

It's probably a mix of C-5 and C-17s doing those flights now. The last C-141 outfit at Wright-Patterson AFB Ohio transitioned to the C-5B Galaxy, but I don't know if they've picked those flights up yet.
