I didn't know he'd done Inyokern! That'll add a bit to the China Lake area. I'll get on it..
I can send it to you (for private use of course)...

Re: Post-Matrix P3D v4

Hey Jim,
So if I was to give you access to my FTP you could send all you have to me…. For personal use…?

That way you would have a remote backup as well :)

So long as that’s not going to cause any trouble..

Re: Post-Matrix P3D v4

....all of the released FS9 packages are still there too. Converting those sceneries to P3Dv4.5 is straightforward and not difficult - and there is a guide to doing so here. I would learn those techniques and crack on with it.... Haha, yep doing that..just trying to be lazy and see if there was a w...

Post-Matrix P3D v4

Good afternoon all, As usual I am a late adopter.. I have finally made the jump from FS9 to P3D v4.5 as my 'main' simulator. And as is my custom I have arrived just after all the cool kids have moved to FS2020 (which I do have).. My question pertains to all the goodness which was previously availabl...

+1 for the 'Flight of the Intruder' and 'Blue Blasters' :) Big A-6 fan here, entirely because of Stephen Coontz. If you want to get a real insight into Carrier Ops, read 'The Intruders'.

NZDF Vehicles Library (WIP)

As part of my Retro (1991) RNZAF project I have been modelling a few vehicles to use in my sceneries. This has been an experiment in using Fusion360 (which I use in my day-to-day life) to create usable 3d models for FS. After some playing around I have been able to produce some models, import into G...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...

I guess what we are really saying is; this sim is somewhat ‘finicky’…

My PC runs fine on well below spec hardware, meanwhile a colleague has issues in the order of magnitude that you describe.

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...

1080? I'm running it quite happily on a 780ti and an old (don't remember what gen) i7. I guess a lot depends on your perception of what is acceptable. I'm getting around 30fps, but then I don't have any *heavy* addon aircraft or sceneries... Surprisingly it runs ok in VR on this well-below-the-glide...

Re: Thoughts on the next project

+1 for the Huey…. Sadly it’s a ‘mostly retro’ subject, but a wide appeal with loads of operators (and I’m biased)

Re: AI UH-1 Huey???

What is the situation with this please? If the development is still active, what sim versions are you producing please? Hi John, The Huey is next on my list to revive. At this stage it is a single LOD, and a bit rough around the edges, but texture mapping is done (pending any last minute changes) a...

Hi John,
New Zealand operates them as well.... I can probably get the same sort of details as I got for the Strikemaster if you are interested?

Another dovely looking model!
