Re: Website speed

So it looks like the recurring problems appear to affect Germany. I wonder if its an internal routing issue there. If it bounces around from point to point it will slow it down dramatically. I just did a tracert from my desktop to www.militaryaiworks.com and found that it took 21 hops. This included...

Re: Royal Air Force Tornado GR4 package by MAIW

Dave, We only do afcads for the default scenery or for our own scenery, unless there are special circumstances and a very friendly developer lets us use his scenery with his blessing. Steve Anderson's scenery is very good, if a bit of a frame rate hog, by today's standards, as I am sure that Steve w...

Re: RAF Coningsby 121 Expeditionary Air Wing package by MAIW

I am not sure exactly what you mean, but those ones that in Traffic_EGXC_FlyBy.bgl that begin are called nEC , where n =a number, are virtual not real. Generally speaking if there is no afcad in one of our packages, and there is a flypast or display that Mike has produced, then it is a virtual waypo...

Apparently the speed of electricity in France, Germany and Italy has been reduced by the EU to pay for the national debt in Greece.

Re: RAF Coningsby 121 Expeditionary Air Wing package by MAIW

You won't find those waypoints. They are within a certain specific range of RAF Coningsby, which means that you don't actually need physical waypoints for aircraft to use them, IF you are at Coningsby. They are virtual waypoints. They are found only in the relevant airports.txt file. It is part of t...

Re: Do not know install...

antalves, The simplest way is to copy all of the files from file folder 1, except WOAI.cfg, into your Flight Simulator folder. Mine is called 'F:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9'. The system will copy the files from the 'Aircraft' folder in to your 'Flight Simulator\Aircraft' folder...

Re: Do not know install...

Hi antalves, I noticed that you said that you put the 'Canadian Armed Forces' folder into the 'Flight Simulator/Aircraft' folder. Was this actually what you did, or did you copy all the folders inside 'Canadian Armed Forces' into 'Flight Simulator'. For example 'Canadian Armed Forces\addon scenery' ...

No wonder they moaned like b*ggery when we sent the FGR4s down there.

Maybe the USMC will loan us one of their carriers just like last time.

Re: Great Lakes Air National Guard Part 1 and Part 2 by MAIW

I will confess that I haven't looked into this properly, so I am making some snap assumptions here. First off what height are we talking about? As the service ceiling is FL120, I am hoping that its not above that as it would mean that we have not been as accurate with our plans as we could have been...

SF ANG? San Francisco?
There is no ANG unit there. Are you sure that you haven't got it mixed up? The only Makos that I can think of are the 93rd FS in Florida.

Re: BEWARE

If the installer is a clickteam one, the same as the one that MAIW uses, then its not actually a virus. The latest checkers pick up the advert in the freeware version as adware.
