Thanks TF!
Looks like I don't need to alter the runway or main taxiways. I can see some clues that the southern area was military, so will place some hangars there and alter the parking to get those 12 Mirages in there

The download hangar is currently disabled. We're doing our best to bring it back as soon as possible.

Re: More Mirages
Does anyone have scenery for Manises air base? Or drawings/photos before the air force withdrew so I can make a retro afcad? I've no idea where to park Mirages at LEVC from current aerial views.

Re: Thoughts on the next project
This is maybe the time to share. Some of you know the nice people from the DDR Flugzeug Forum. They have provided me with the whole range of their (mostly) DDR bases to host them here at MAIW. They are all FS9, but if the authors credentials are given correctly, they might be converted to FSX/P3D. ...

Re: Thoughts on the next project
I know. I was not quite serious. I just enjoyed scoping out the scale of the problem, since I discovered how to search a single web domain yesterday (e.g. site:ww2.dk Tu-16). Maybe Badger fans can see something of particular interest in the list, or maybe present day H-6 would be more manageable: a ...

For Soviet badgers Menno has some of the last of their air bases in his Warsaw Pack pack: Khvalynha, Zavitinsk, Zyabrovka(Gomel), Bila Tserkva. From http://www.ww2.dk/new/newindex.htm , there were others :-) 5th Guards Maritime Missile Aviation Regiment Veseloye, Crimean Oblast [45 34 41N, 34 16 45E...

For reference, seven H-6 bases are listed here... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_P ... e_airbases
Apart from Luhe/Ma'an, Winfried Orthman has created basic FSX afcads for them.

Thanks Jim, the idea is growing on me every time I see a favourable post. I'm knee deep in KC-10A painting at the moment, but I'll do some research on a potential "Russian" package when I get those done. John My fingers are crossed John. For reference, I came across a few photos I hadn't ...

Jim, they made 435 according to Wikki. Interesting project, but like the Meteor, where would you put them? Is there enough interest across 3 sim versions? Don't want to take this thread off-track, but I've been experimenting with my parking (no-pushback nodes, etc.) and more importantly found I missed some taxi hold points on my LKZC/LKBC uploads there. Turns out even runway exits need them to generate "clear of runway" calls to let others l...

Re: Dans bits & bobs
You're welcome Dan,
I'd never have found Zatec without that code, so many retro bases have/had none.
I can't do parking yet. I don't want to derail your thread, but if somebody could point me to a nice example... e.g. how the feck do you get a MiG to reverse into a HAS?

Thanks Dan & Matt for the Czechoslovak packages. Much appreciated! For the Mig-21s, I cannot find LKBC or LKZC scenery and don't see them in P3D stock, so I knocked up my own afcads. LKBC is still there on Google Maps, but I had to rely on https://www.mil-airfields.de/cz-czech-republic/zatec-let...

Hi Martin, You hate me right?
Viewing these with AI-Aircraft Editor, the textures are missing on these...

I can't see why.
