Re: French Rafales by Nick Black, Greg Loones & Mike MacIntyre
Thank you guys for getting this one out. The French skies are very busy these days with the Mirage F1 package, the Mirage 2000 series, the Military Transports package, the Ray Parker/Stephen Phillips C-135 packages, visiting Belgium Alpha Jets, and now this Rafale Package. Just awesome. Now all we n...

Re: Coming soon.....
In the meantime you can get an ROCAF Mirage 2000 package put together by Giacomo Gramazio and myself here. We used textures by Mike Pearson and of course the Mirage 2000 versions by Fernando Martinez. Giacomo included an afcad to give the aircraft somewhere to park at Hsinchu AB.

Re: Did you know that...
James 84, here is what I did. I used the Arial font, size 13. I gave it both an outline and fill colour. That gave just a little too big letters so I reduce the stroke width to 0.5. The size was fine but the text was a little too dark so I used RGB 48,48,48. I used sharp antilising. If you want to ...

Hum? Interesting. Worked ok on my system. Guess I'll stick with painting and leave the AI bit to others.james84 wrote:At the beginning the aircrafts didn't appear under the covers, I had to edit the aircrafrt.cfg file and assign parking codes, now I sorted it out!

Excellent job Frank! Definitely better than my attempt of repainting! :smt003 Here is a nice scenery for Anapolis sban-anapolisv4.zip (flightsim.com) Thanks. Yea, that's the same file I recommended in the readme file. Using it puts more aircraft under the covered parking. Somehow my screenshot up a...

Re: Did you know that...
I updated the textures since it had been about a year and a half since I originally did them. I also went ahead and did individual textures for the 12 aircraft. There is a link below to download them. Please have a look and let me know how badly they fall on their face before I post them anywhere el...

I painted up a set of both the F-2000C (10) and F-2000B (2), as they are referred to in Brazil, back in 2009 for Fernando's Mirage 2000. Herve Etienne put together some traffic files so they could fly from Anapolis. I just realized they've been collecting dust on my desktop waiting for a readme fil...

Re: South African Mirages - Retro Request.
I haven't seen any F1CZ repaints but Ray Parker did a Gabon AF F1AZ texture set shortly after Nick released the Mirage F1. A simple insignia change would convert it back to SAAF days. More info is here... http://www.militaryaiworks.com/newforum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=5718&p=56044&hilit=mir...

Well, I guess that's part of what we have to deal with when flying military in a civilian sim. Would I use AFCAD to make a fix on my local copy? I messed around with it long ago but don't recall what all it can do. Mike, might I suggest that going forward any/all previously released MAIW pack...

I mentioned it up above but was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the conflicting ATC tower calls between this scenery of Luxeuil/St Sauveur (LFSX) and the scenery for Colmar/Meyenheim (LFSC) from the MAIW French Mirage F1 package? Did your beta testers test for this? It seems like an obvious...

Re: Retro Bones
If you have the Alphasim B-1B and want to fly with the Georgia ANG or Kansas ANG I painted them all a few years ago. It was at the request of a guy who was putting together a Virtual Airline but it never go off the ground. I had painted all the aircraft though. All very well researched. You can get...
