Small correction. All indications right now are that JASDF will actually own the aircraft even though they will be operated off JMSDF ships.
It makes some sense that was since JMSDF has no tactical jet experience or training program.
The download hangar is currently disabled. We're doing our best to bring it back as soon as possible.

Re: V-22 Osprey
They are eventually destined for use on the two Izumo Class Wepromisetheyaren'tcarriers. Which explains the paint scheme, but now raises questions about why they are with the JGSDF and not JMSDF.

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials
Yes, the 192nd was included in the MAIW West Coast ANG package using HTAI models. However, due to a complete turnover in airframes and naming convention changes between the two models, they won't just drop in with the old flight plan. There is a new flight plan file included that updates the old MAI...

Not quite up to Moody just yet, but there should be a consolation prize once I get the WCANG flight plans to mesh up with the current serial numbers:

Those hangars that you show there haven't changed in decades and they certainly look like they do in real life.

Re: Secretive Poseidon... can we call it an EP-8E?
They are not the same pod. The pod on the P-3 angles upwards towards the fuselage in the last third while the pod on the P-8 is straight. That may not mean much though since the pod itself is largely believed to simply be an aerodynamic fairing for the bits inside.

Re: Secretive Poseidon... can we call it an EP-8E?
At the time the model was made, only 951 was flying with the pod. Since then 996 and 010 have been seen with it. If they follow the trend that the prior P-3s did, the serial numbers will be disappearing off the jets wearing the pod, so a generic repaint with no numbers or unit markings could be used...

I thought only special version would be done. It turns out that John is not a human, but is instead a machine endoskeleton covered in a layer of living flesh. John can’t be bargained with. He can’t be reasoned with. He doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And he absolutely will not stop, ever, u...

It is included in the base P-8 model package John put out. The particular model is name model.AASTheFoufure wrote: ↑08 Aug 2019, 11:51 Good news. But I didn't find it in the aircraft model's directories.

Re: Secretive Poseidon... can we call it an EP-8E?
What I don't understand is why they don't base the unit at KNFW? The mission has always been at Love Field for as long as I can remember. Even back when NAS JRB Fort Worth was still Carswell AFB and there was still a NAS Dallas with F-14s flying around. Until the last few years, the mission was flo...

Those aren't in an object library. Those are custom objects John Young mad UKe that embedded in the scenery filled themselves
Let me get with John and see if he is okay with me compiling so.e of his objects into a single fsx/p3d library to make life easier on users of those sim versions
