Re: Dans bits & bobs

I believe the FS2004 models will work just fine in FSX, I'm not aware of any conversions that were done for the MKAI MiG 29 into FSX, only P3D

Re: Dans bits & bobs

Just uploaded some Hungarian MiG 29's, circa late 90s, onto the hangar with flightplans to go with as well, should be up shortly. Next will probably be the German ones from the same period as well. Also nearly finished some Polish An-2's as well which I'll upload in a few days or so, all being well.

Re: Dans bits & bobs

Just uploaded 89 repaints & flightplans for the Polish Su-22's circa late 90s. I've included flightplans but as I don't know what airframe was at which base for the time they're mostly fictional.

Re: Dans bits & bobs

Hi all, quick question. Does anyone have a copy of the MPJAI F-5 paint kit that they can send to me at all?

Thanks,

Re: Dans bits & bobs

Just uploaded these MiGs to the hangar, should be available shortly. Since nobody seemed to know, or wanted to guess, I can tell you that they are Polish ones, these 3 in particular are fairly interesting as they were "deployed" to the Negev desert in 1997 for testing. Presumably they remo...

Re: Dans bits & bobs

And for our next game, it's guess the MiG 29 operator  I can't imagine this will be particularly difficult to be honest.

Radom Air Show 2023

For my final overseas trip of the year I went to the Radom Air Show in central Poland, it was cited to be the last chance to publicly see a lot of the Soviet era types that are being replaced in Polish service like the Su-22, MiG 29, Mi-14 etc. Pretty much everything that the Polish have turned up i...

Re: Dans bits & bobs

Hi all, I've recently done a whole bunch of government 707's covering Australia, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, South Africa, Indonesia, Zaire & Chile for the late 80's & 90s. I've stuck them on my Google drive so they can be downloaded. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1I8uX4hsnTSrh8jj3uVW...

MAIW Voicepacks

Hi all,

I've had to re-install my P3d, again, & I've lost all the voicepacks that MAIW have done over the years. They did used to be able to be downloaded via the Matrix but with that going offline is anyone able to send that zip file to me at all please?

Thanks,

Re: U-2 question

I believe there's 2 on rotation at Fairford as well, they rotate airframes & pilots on a regular basis but from what I understand there's always 1 or 2 based there

That genuinely looks like a walrus.
Haha, you might be right there. Although I think that does a disservice to the Walrus :D

Re: Japan 2023

Thanks both,

we actually caught 3 of the 4 US-2's luckily. I chose to omit 1 of them from this as in essence it's the same as 9901 (pic 53). For those wondering the serial was 9906.

Japan 2023

In May 2023 I was lucky enough to visit the wonderful country of Japan on a 2 week spotting trip. We visited pretty much all the major, & a few minor bases as well, across the main island of Honshu & a couple on Kyushu. For once the weather gods & the aviation gods seemed to align for th...

Very much looking forward to this one, the Wessex is one of my favourites. I've no specific variant request, just as long as there's a paint kit for it :smt003

Zeltweg 2022

I just realised I never got round to posting my shots from Zeltweg this year. What a show it was as well, plenty of highlights but arguably had the star appearance for any show in Europe with a PLAAF Xi'an Y-20 in the static display. The weather was pretty much perfect, the scenery stunning making f...

Re: Dans bits & bobs

Try here for the DWAI models, no idea if it's in there or not. https://www.alpha-india.net/aigfiles/files/Converted%20P3D%20v4%20models/ Those aircraft are simple replacement textures so shouldn't need a new cfg file for them. I'm pretty sure there is no P3D conversion of the Herald, I think there's...

Re: Dans bits & bobs

So quick question on the RIAT release... I see it uses the DWAI BAC 1-11... Has that been converted / released for FSX / V4 I cannot seem to find it..? I know someone did a quick conversion of the JB simulations version on AIG... But the only DWAI version I can find is for FS9... Thanks. Not sure t...
