Re: French and Itailian A319 CJ
Thanks Steve - these guys have a nightmare with all the different formats they are uploading to keep FSX and FS9 users happy. So, if a few slip through the net every now and then it's no great shakes! I'm comfortable converting FSX to FS9, but there are many people who aren't. And, thanks again Denn...

Re: French and Itailian A319 CJ
Thanks for the pointer Steve - can you let Dennis know that two of the Italian FS9 'buses need the alpha changing to FS9 format - not sure if he stops by here to read the forum.

Re: 32 Sqn RAF Northolt
Thanks for the extra info - I didn't paint that one as it's being shown as written off on the On Dutch Wings website!! Whether that's the case, or good old RSS (Crash and Smash) can recover it remains to be seen. Glad you both like the paints - I appreciate the comments and am not averse to construc...

Decided to give the BAe 125's a makeover. Model and paintkit by Henry T. All 5 airframes done, including the preview with anniversary markings!! It's just some extra text, so nothing special. Just got to test them in the sim, then package and upload if anyone wants an upgrade! 32bit with alphas as u...

Re: RAF Tutors package by Nick Black and Greg Loones
Thanks for the explanations guys. I really don't understand flightplans and their construction just yet. I used to use TTools which didn't show errors to the degree that AIFP does. I'll stick to painting just now and learning a few more AFCAD/ADE tricks!!

Re: RAF Tutors package by Nick Black and Greg Loones
Ok, so we've ascertained it's a bug and not a taxy test! Any idea what the altitudes should be?? I can copy the altitudes from another aircraft at Leeming, but it would be nice to know what alt's the author intended. Just me being anal I suppose!!

Thanks for the compliment John, but if truth be told, I wouldn't even attempted these if it wasn't for your paintkits!! If sometime in the future you make a Meteor and a Dove - I'll paint them up too

Re: RAF Tutors package by Nick Black and Greg Loones
Have just been doing a bit of housekeeping on my ever sprawling FS9 installation, renaming aircraft, running flightplans through AIFP to iron out errors etc etc and I noticed, or rather AIFP noticed AC#20, G-BYYA at RAF Leeming has a few legs at 0ft altitude. Is this a bug or a workaround for a part...

Somewhere in Wales
A few years ago I downloaded the SimSkunkworks RAE Llanbedr package. The readme suggests using UI models (Some are old FS2002 models if I recall correctly)!! instead of pure AI. As a lot of these models are now availabe in AI format, I decided to give them a makeover. Firstly thanks to the model cre...

Adding my thanks - I noticed this issue too, but converted them myself. So good to see Leuchars fully populated again!! Cheers Daryl - you're a star!! As a slightly OT request, would it be possible to upload the 32bit textures so I can downgrade them myself to DXT3 as i prefer to run without mips, s...

Re: The Paint Shop Hints and Tips Thread
Not really a painting tip, but quite a useful tool for previewing and converting images can be found here: http://code.google.com/p/sagethumbs/ it'll show dxt files as thumbnails in win 7 and also allow a larger preview with a simple right click option. Certainly quicker than firing up DxtBmp for a ...
