Helicopter Takeoff

I am trying to launch Helicopters in a short distance as, possible. Using the Army CH-47, and the Army AH-64 by Nick Black, I get immediate, takeoff; it rises off the ground prior to takeoff, and then rises higher, going down the runway. When I use the UH-60, it rolls down the Runway like an aircraf...

Re: Changing Parking Codes.

I was using one of the AH64Ds Choppers from the Fort Hood\Gray package. Using one AH64Ds Chopper twice, changing the parking code, from 21n to 22n on the second entry. By using two AH64Ds Chopper from the same package, changing the second choppers parking code, seems to have corrected the problem, a...

Changing Parking Codes.

Fs9 I am trying to change parking codes in the aircraft.bgl, with no luck. Using the AI Helicopter, in the Fort Hood \Gray AAF package, they specify a parking Code of 21N, for there Helicopters. That seems to work ok, if I change the parking code to 22n, in Afcad and in the Aircraft.cfg folder, the ...

Re: JMAI B-52B

I didn’t know if it was a virus, I was guessing. Different things on the computer were not acting normal indicating there was something wrong, way beyond my pay grade. The computer was formatted, and then the windows 7 program was reinstalled, and the FS9 program was reinstalled, correcting the prob...

Re: JMAI B-52B

Formatting and restoring Windows 7, corrected the problem.

All B-52B look good standing up right, apparently I had a virus of some kind.

Even if I didn’t the problem is fixed for now, who knows maybe it will last.

Re: JMAI B-52B

So you are now using FS9.1, did you delete rename the fs9,cfg? The reason I say is that this move has cleared out some issues I have had over the years. Also the docs for the FS9.1 update say that you should install that on a clean system. Apparently installed it correctly, no errors were noted whe...

Re: JMAI B-52B

Tried your Aircraft.cfg file, SOSDD. “Same old ---- different day”. I took the complete Aircraft.cfg from the original B-52B, minus the aircraft, placed it in a B-52D model. The aircraft appeared and stayed upright. I have tried it the other way B-52D aircraft.cfg file minus the aircraft with the sa...

Re: JMAI B-52B

The B-52B model is the only aircraft that falls into the ramp, the C,D,E,F,G, and H models do what they’re supposed to. Need a briefing on Contact Points, the only thing I’ve done with contact points is copy and paste from one type aircraft to another aircraft of the same type. Where can I find info...

Re: JMAI B-52B

So if the afcad, flightplans, aircraft and fde are the same then there must be something else that is unique to your setup. What might be worth doing is to rename your fs9,cfg file to fs9_safe.cfg and then allowing FS9 to rebuild a new cfg file and see what happens then. It maybe that you have a we...

Could you possibly zip up the flight plan you are using and the AFCAD for KBAD and post here? We could then try and replicate what you are experiencing. Re: JMAI B-52B

Do you have that option ...
