Re: JMAI B-52B
wbunnell Are we not understanding what you are trying to do here Are you trying to make it visible in the selection menu so that you can select it and follow it? Gary The B model was downloaded from AVSIM “jmai_b52_traffic1.zip”, the zip file was downloaded to a spare folder as it was in the zip fi...

JMAI B-52B
JMAI B-52B in ai, out of the box, fresh from jmai_b52_traffic1.zip, aircraft nose falls through the ramp, rocks back and forth then settles down, and rest with the nose in the ramp.

Re: B-52s Sink into the ramp Tail First
Moving the CG to +110ft will put the aircraft level on the runway. The screen shot below has the aircraft set up as a flyable aircraft and it's stable: http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss323/Bitmap512/MIscellaneous/B-52_zpsde22554a.jpg However, trying to fly it from there is a no go. The aircraft...

I don’t want to Fly these aircraft, I use them more to Select correct aircraft for missions.

Re: Aircraft in AFCAD.
Problem solved I hope!
Going to AFCAD properties\Compatibility, in the bottom “Privilege Level”, check “Run this program as administrator”.
For the time being the only aircraft I see is what’s in Aircraft Folder in FS9.

Re: Aircraft in AFCAD.
The only reason I left the C172, was FS9 requires it to run. Maybe someone who is still using FS9 has had a simulator problem with Ghosts.

All My MAIW Aircraft Are downloaded into a file “MAIW files opened”, on my desktop in their original format. I then Change the, JMAI headings to USAF. If there is a problem like the way I’m having now, I reload the original aircraft in the “MAIW files opened” folder. Like I said in my last post, Al...

Aircraft in AFCAD.
When I go to resize my parking spots using Afcad Aircraft Editor, for JMAI B-52, I find Duplicate Aircraft listed. Removing the JMAI b-52s, I still have JMAI B-52s listed. I remove all aircraft except Cessna 172, so I can Start FS 9,I still have over 100, B-52s Boeing and JMAI aircraft listed along ...

Re: B-52s Sink into the ramp Tail First
What John says about the cfg file is correct. You can't simply replace it with one from another B-52. With these problems that you are seeing they are user induced. So lets forget everything so far and get back to basics. What happens if you re-copy the original cfg file and air file back into the ...

Re: B-52s Sink into the ramp Tail First
Hi Throwing in my bit. The aircraft .CFG file contains the contact points for the aircraft. This determines how high the centre of the model is from the surface. The contact points also determine how the behaviour is going to be relative to the ground. The .CFG and .air files are normally matched. ...

Re: B-52s Sink into the ramp Tail First
I have Remove and replaced every JMAI B-52, numerous times; I edited the Aired, Aircraft Type, to 0. I have used other B-52 Aircraft.cfg files that set flat on the ramp, some aircraft float about 5’ (feet), above the ramp, others sink into the ramp up to the cockpit windows. This is all happened on ...

Re: USAF EC-135 LOOKING GLASS
The way this post was reading, this was the answer to EC-135 Aircraft.
I didn't intend the slam the EC-135, or the people that made them, if I offended you I'm sorry. Having worked on them for up woods to 11 years in the 60s and early 70s I was looking for the real McCoy.

Re: B-52s Sink into the ramp Tail First
Nothing Except the Aircraft type was changed to 0.
I have tried using the different B-52 aircraft.cfg, from the "general" down, ie, Changing every thing but the list of Aircraft. Same thing, down we go.
