Re: Looking for NAS Fallon for FSX by Jim Dhaenens

Have you tried to contact him yet? If not let me know and I what I can do on my end.

No I haven't actually, that's probably the best option. Thanks!

James, I'll try your KNFL in FSX and see how it looks, in ADE it sure looks great!

Looking for NAS Fallon for FSX by Jim Dhaenens

I lost a hard drive that had 90% of my FS scenery recently and NAS Fallon by Jim Dhaenens was on it. He has pulled the scenery offline due to copyright issues and I was wondering if anyone that has it might be able to send it my way. It's an amazing piece of work and I'd love to have it back in my s...

Re: Looking to get a new PC

This looks an interesting option for FSX users. Any one tried it? http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html I run a tweaked FSX.cfg from there and it runs and looks great, I don't spend much time comparing stock to the new cfg so it could just be smoke and mirrors but I'm happy with what it's done. Performa...

Re: Possible New Build from New Egg - Come Debate!

You should have no problems getting it up to 4.6 or higher even, I have my 2500K at 4.6 simply with a Corsair A50 heatsink with a much quieter GELID Silent 12 fan on it. It's almost silent and rarely gets over 50C.. Idles at 30-33.

Re: Support for MAIW Packages in FSX

Scott, do you have Acceleration? The scenery included with the acceleration package is very nice and you would therefore not use the one included for FS2004. I have modified the Acceleration KEDW afcad to include a fair bit of parking if you want it.

Re: Windows 7

Once UAC is off, she's rock solid. It's a great OS. I haven't had any issues other than UAC, disabling it took a whopping 10 seconds to complete.
Of course I'm also one of those FSX convert yahoo's.. :smt025

Re: Windows 7

First thing I would do is turn off User Account Control, that might be the issue. It's a real pain in the butt.

Re: New PC.

My FS9 is the same one that has gone through numerous reformats and 2 new builds without reinstalling over the past 3 years. You'll want to run one of the registry entry repair tools like this one http://www.simforums.com/forums/fs9-registry-repair-tool_topic19053.html . The only issue I've come acr...

Re: Installing MAIW packages in FSX

For you FSX users, I figured out the issue I was having concerning the autogen bushes and buildings appearing with the addon scenery for Lemoore. Simply added an autogen exclude to the afcad and all is awesome again.

Re: Installing MAIW packages in FSX

Hey everyone, I have just installed the Lemoore package and first off a HUGE thanks to all involved.. It's simply awesome! My question regarding FSX is that I'm trying to create a new airport poly to remove bleed-through autogen trees and buildings. I have made a new poly in ADE with the tags "...

Re: It's official, I now have FSX envy

Wow.. now that Superbug will be a must have. As for FSX, I'm running an E8400 C2D at 3.6 with 4gb or ram and a 512mb 9800GTX+. My FSX runs and looks awesome at 1650x1080 (I know, not very high by today's setups)with 8xS FSAA and 8x anio. Only the heavy cities with multiple busy airports and massive ...
