Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

Hi, I've started work on flightplans, AFCADs and waypoints for the Russian Federation. Rather than release a full package, this is going to be added to on a per aircraft type basis. I'm starting with the Air Force bombers, then onto the transports and then the fighters. When these are all done, then...

Re: Flightplans for Casa 235

Does anyone know if there are paints available for these plans. I've had a look on AVSIM and FlightSim and couldn't see any. Thanks.

Re: My Flightplans

Eritrea Massawa Airport/Air Base attached. Quite a bit of artistic licence ref parking as I couldn't find a chart. Has room for the a good proportion of the AF. With the HHAS scenery available on AVSIM, I have expanded the parking with the AFCAD, however I'm not sure I can release the AFCAD here as...

Re: My Flightplans

I can see the MiGs only. If they haven't been done, then I can add them to my list to do... I didn't do the su24's if that's what you're referring to Yep those were the ones along with the Su27s for Uzbekistan. I've got one airport/base for Eritrea ready. Should have the rest done today. Then I'll ...

Re: Mike Pearson VC-10

That's odd. There were reports on the AIG of this VC10 causing crashes. I've done a full suite of checks and not having either of those sets in my sim means no CTDs. I've gone back to the Dave Maltby model, which lacks of the bells and whistles and is a bit frame rate heavy, but being as there only ...

Re: Mike Pearson VC-10

It doesn't happen every time, but the CTD (according to ProcessMonitor) is not a texture but actually appears to be happening in the model itself.

Re: Michael Pearson's been busy

In case anyone hasn't seen this on the Flightplans thread, if you've got the Algerian MiG25 pack, you'll need to open and re-save each texture as a DXT3 file with alpha channel to prevent any Crash to Desktops you might experience with them. Hope this helps.

Re: My Flightplans

I've already done: Angloa Turkmenistan Uzbekistan Azerbaijan- not the SU24's though These all go to a number of european air bases. I know it doesn't happen in real life but i like the the thought of these airforces at Leeuwarden and Akrotiri etc.. You'll need afcads for all of them. For Uzbekistan...

Re: My Flightplans

The textures for the AlgerianAF MIg25s have been supplied as DXT1 files with no alpha. Converting them to DTX3 with an alpha solves the crash problem. Should solve both your problems. @James I was thinking of looking at Uzbekistan next, but not sure when I can get them done. If you look on FlightSim...

Re: My Flightplans

There are already FPs for the Su24/Mig25/Mig29 and various other Algerian AF aircraft on AVSIM along with some AFCADs. Search for: ai_mig25.zip. There are no Su30 plans, but I'm just adapting the Mig23 plans instead. Not ideal, but gets you going.

Cheers for the Peruvian plans James!

Re: Kazakhstan Mig25 & Su27 Flight Plans

What kind of package do i need to use so i can see the buildings to the ade you made. You need to install all the software off of the AVSIM site listed in my previous threads. You will then need to install the ADE/AF2 files I've attached and you also need to make sure that you have the MAIW librari...

I couldn't get the taxiways etc to display properly before hand which is why i did the correction to the All Kazakhstan scener...

New IL62 Model

Hi, A new IL62 model has just been released. Whilst generally not military, it is used by the DPRK government/military and - of course - parts of the Russian Air Force/Government. This model is simply stunning. A few shots (I've only got the civilian versions installed so far)... http://d.imagehost....

Hi folks, Flight plans and modified AFCADs for the Mig25 & Su27 repaints recently posted to AVSIM. Please see attached ZIP file. I've also added parking spaces for the Mig27, should a model become available. You must have installed my previous Kazakhstan Plans and the additional files called for...
