Re: Possible new project ?
I believe FS9 & FSX will live on for a good while yet no matter how old the tech is behind it, there is so much available for it at this present time and ive not really had any problems running FS9 based files inside of FSX, As John says the amount of work involved in a whole new sim would be e...

Amusingly appropriate given the unit involved and the threat starter: https://warisboring.com/dressed-like-santa-american-pilots-delivered-bombs-to-islamic-state-f03fdcfa8fb0?ICID=ref_fark#.o8cfk65yt It sure is, as that is my old unit currently deployed to an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia....

Re: Carrier Landings
For those of you interested in AI takeoffs and landings from static FS9 carriers, below is a link to download the MAIW French Rafales package authored by Nick Black, Greg Loones and myself. In this package you will find an aircraft folder named MAIW_NBAI_Rafale_M_Wet_FNY which contains my aircraft.c...

Re: VFR vs IFR
Two possibilities immediately come to mind as common sources for your VFR AI problem. First if you are using Traffic View Board (TVB) to follow your VFR AI, they will enter the downwind leg of the VFR pattern for their destination airport and fly an infinitely long downwind leg without ever turning ...

Thanks ricki429. You've told me that the rear cargo door in MGAI Airbus A332-MRTT/KC-30A Refueling Flight Model Version 5.3 by Michael MacIntyre opens 15 minutes before departure, but you didn't confirm that was in FSX. I've tried to find the aircraft in the Download Hangar and on Avsim so that I c...

Re: NBAI Phantom F-4F tilts forward and disappear...
Hi everybody, just to say, I am a little confused for a couple of days. After installing Nick Black's F-4F with German Hopsten liveries, I noticed a strange behaviour of this aircraft: After loading the scenery, the AIs appear, but immediately they tilt forward and submerge into ground - disappear....

Re: Eielson AFB AK to Receive Two F-35A Squadrons
The VT ANG was just informed that they will be receiving their F-35A's in 2019, a year earlier than previously scheduled, so their development progress must be improving. :D Of course they will arrive at KBTV then only if our local anti-military fanatics don't find any reasons for additional lawsuit...

Foufure, Please believe me when I say that we tried for years to get the source from Henry but we didn't get any response from him once he gave up the hobby. Steve, I think that either Henry told me or I read somewhere that he somehow lost all his FS9 AI source files and that is why he can't make t...

Re: Upgrading from Windows 7 to Window 10 and the impact to FS9
Guys, For those of you who are like me and will not transition to Windows 10 until MS has it fully debugged and I feel that I absolutely have to, there is a neat little app called the GWX Control Panel that allows you to block all of MS's attempts to trick you into installing Windows 10. It allows y...
