Re: Lakenheath EGUL
I installed the JYAI_F-15s_FSX_1 with a release date 14th August 2015. This zip contains: ACG F-15-E with three textures an AIR file dated 25/11/2015 and an acft.cfg file dated 11/8/2015. Plus: ACG F15_C_D with three textures with AIR file and acft.cfg of the same dates. Eventually will I need anoth...

Re: Lakenheath EGUL
Firebird: I now have re-installed items 1,3 & 4 in your list. Can you please identify by exact filename "the FSX schemes for the JYAI F-15s "? I am not familiar with that item. A busy RL day today with household chores and our Probus Club Christmas lunch so I cannot return to this exer...

Re: Lakenheath EGUL
As you can see I have been a member of MAIW for eight years plus. I have never before had any serious problems with installing any of the MAIW packages. This one is the exception. I shall now go right back to the start and delete the whole of my current Lakenheath files. Later this evening I shall r...

Re: Lakenheath EGUL
Early return to puzzle.
I changed John's F15s for FSX to his F15s for FS9. I then inserted the traffic file, see above, into my world scenery. Went to Lakenheath - no F15s visible. Disappointed.
Next to AIFP and opened the Traffic.bgl All entries were in black. Stuck again.

Re: Lakenheath EGUL
OK. I shall take break from this one and return to RL. Weather forecast not too good for weekend so hope to return to EGUL puzzle Sat. or Sun.

Re: Lakenheath EGUL
Looking through my Lakenheath v2 scenery I found that I have EGUL_AFX but I do not have either AFX_EGUL or AF2_EGUL.
Does that mean that I have no parking at all on the main airfield?
Pavehawk helicopters still there and flying.
Tried John's Traffic file - no f15s seen.

Re: Lakenheath EGUL
I have Martin's AIAE program but I cannot see how to check the fsx afcad = AFX_ACG3.bgl. I have used the AIAE program to change John's F15 acft. cfg. wingspan from 48.5 ft. to 60 ft. to produce a 30ft parking radius. The conversion worked but still no aircraft visible. I am determined to solve this ...

Re: Lakenheath EGUL
Firebird, thanks for your reply.
AIFP scan this evening found no FS9 Traffic files in system.
My traffic percentage is always set at 100%.
All other AI working well.

Re: Lakenheath EGUL
Once again assistance is needed. During the weekend I made several attempts to install Lakenheath v2. That part went well. In my FSX setup the airfield looked fine. Waypoints installed in AddonSceneryJMP\Scenery and AddonSceneryJMP added to top of FSX Scenery Library. Next the JYAI FSX versions of t...
Re: FSX gone!
At 21:30 hrs I found an excellent 6 minute YouTube film which explained in detail what to do when you get the dreaded Error: 1-80004005. You have to go to regedit and trace a file {4D336E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318. Double click on the UpperFilters on the right and make sure that the only entry ...
FSX gone!
For two years I have been bumbling about using the Gold edition of FSX. I use McAfee and CCleaner to keep my machine in order. FSX was installed on my 'D' Drive together with an awful lot of addon scenery including MAIW airfields and traffic. Monday a.m. first thing clean up our computers using the ...

Cranwell Phenoms Flightplans
Tranquil has updated his RAF Phenom 100 aircraft which will operate from RAF Cranwell. Has anyone, or could someone, make some flightplans for these aircraft please? Two plans might contain the old HS125 triangular: Cranwell, Cardiff, Glasgow, Cranwell and reverse. This type of aircraft probably can...

Re: FSX Osprey traffic Mildenhall v2
At last! Thanks to John I found five FS9 traffic files in my FSX\scenery\world\scenery file. The five interlopers were deleted. The original traffic file was replaced by John's FSX Traffic file from the Osprey zip. Arriving at EGUN I was pleased to find the Ospreys parked and to observe all aircraft...
