Re: Matrix 2 Development

Thanks. Very little progress has been made, unfortunately. Real life hasn't been very considerate of my free time. Looking at the backlog for this project, I don't expect a release before the end of the year. :(

Eurofighter Typhoons by JYAI team

"I have often thought of having a go at a new Typhoon, but the numbers and variations were off putting, particularly in the light of experience with the amount of work involved with previous of my packages, like the F-35 and Tornado. Nick Black’s Typhoons have served the FS community well for ...

Re: Looking For Callsigns

To update the voices with EditVoicepackX they need to have the extension changed from vcpmod to evpmod Actually, you can import the vcpmod files as well. When you're in the file selection screen, you can change the file extension with a dropdown in the bottom right corner. By default it will only f...

Jon, I didn't see the paintkit in the queue so perhaps you forgot to upload it?

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...

Remember Alpha/Beta is still under NDA. I know that it helps placing things into perspective, but if we ever wanted a good working relationship with Asobo/Microsoft in the future I think we should keep this forum clean and only discuss the current state of the sim. Edit: after a chat with the poster...

Re: MAIW and Prepar3DV5 ?

No, most probably not. All airfields were redone for v5, some stock objects were removed from the game and others added. There's a thread in the ADE support forum over at fsdeveloper.com on how to transfer v4 projects to v5.

Re: MAIW and Prepar3DV5 ?

Actually, the programming isn't the issue. The app itself is more or less finished. However, developers are now slowly discovering the magnitude of the airport changes LM did in v5 and all the things it broke. I thought that simply releasing a first version without any scenery would work, but it now...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...

I will admit that I was surprised that the SDK will not be initially released as I thought I read somewhere that the SDK would be part of the beta. I don't know where that info came from either. Nowhere have I seen that the SDK wouldn't be part of the initial release except in Tim's post further up...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...

It looks like there will be no SDK, AI, seasons, or stuff like helicopters at initial release, but they are all scheduled to appear in due course. Where did you get all that? They always said that the SDK would be available together with the release. They didn't mention it specifically in the relea...
