Re: BGM in FS9

Oh okay I looked up BGM in Wikipedia and it was either the BGM-109 Tomahawk or BackGround Music

There's no option for that in FS2004 itself, but you could always alt+tab out of the programme, start a song/playlist in Media Player or iTunes or whatever, and tab back in...

Re: BGM in FS9

You mean the Tomahawk? Why would anyone want to play a cruise missile?!

I guess you could, if you'd find a model for it.

Thanks for the links, James.

Here are some results from NTM09:

65 aircraft and 800 personnel from 19 countries
785 OPS missions flown in 8 flying days
1253:53 flying hours

The last two weeks were crazy!

The button's there. The problem is nothing's new

I've always preferred Avsim somehow, don't know why. Maybe because it's the biggest one of the two. With Avsim down I've learned that Flightsim is equally good though, only slightly less files.

Well it's still going on. I just put the last guys back on the ground at Kleine Brogel. Looks good on the ground but it's total carnage in the air, believe me :D I'll be sad when they all leave again on Friday though. And no, no FS9 scenery for Kleine Brogel I'm afraid :( Tiger tiger tiger! Greg

Yes of course, it all depends on what you want to show and if that is the emptiness, then by all means keep the sand. Some shots were showing mostly blue sky or tarmac and, in my humble opinion, these look a lot more spectacular now they've been cropped a bit! An excellent compromise.

Hey mate! That looks like a nice setting indeed to do some spotting. Must go there some day. Personally, if I'm allowed to give you some advice, I would crop my screenshots a bit. This makes the actual subject, the aircraft, more prominent. Your audience is not interested in sky, sand and water :win...

Wow very nice Chris! The B/W is a good choice.

The Belgian umbrella on your Flickr is a nice one too, of course

Yes it is Dustoff. Once you learn the full potential you'll no longer want to use AFCAD!

All my MAIW AFD files will be done with ADE9 from now.

Ah well that's why I gave the advise to read the manual

Saving the project file is not enough. That's just the workfile and can be stored anywhere you like.

For stuff to show up in FS9, you go to File -> Compile Airport.

This is excellent news! I've been following the beta process with great interest and can say that this is a huge step forward in airport design for FS9. I recommend that everyone reads the manual though to get the most out of it. Some things are also done in a different way than AFCAD. Many thanks t...
