Re: French Paris Air Show at "le Bourget" Airport (LFPB)
I did a Paris Air Show, but the one of 1961 for FS9. There are forty-six static AI historically placed as accurate as possible. For this purpose I created forty-six Afcad (just a parking spot and a runway of 50 ft). As Drag says, the greatest problem is to find all the planes. But I think it should ...

Re: What does the @ symbol do i fight plans?
I had some issues with @ symbol. some AI airliners weren't shown in Traffic Toolbox. After removing the symbol it worked correctly.

Re: US NAVY flight plans from the deepest past to the 90's
Hi,
Despite my intensive search I couldn't found the AI models and textures to be used with the fp's. Would appreciate to have some advice. Thanks.

Re: military AI ships
That's the CFS2 USS Coral Sea placed in FS9 as static AI at Norfolk naval base. Of course it could be programed to move, but without static objects on deck.

Re: military AI ships
Here a very basic ADE. Very important is to set the radius of parking spot at least to 600 ft. https://c2.staticflickr.com/4/3920/14251737737_b533d888c7_b.jpg Also "Area" and "Parking Type" should be declared as "Dock". Be aware that FS9 AI ships work within a radius of...

Re: Helicopter Takeoff
This air file allows to get most flyable helicopters useable as AI and take off within a short distance. BTW, 300 ft works, try yourself.tomasz2013 wrote:... and dont know what stemme_as_helicopter.air file is, anything good?

Re: Helicopter Takeoff
AI helicopters should be able to land on a 300 ft runway. Do you use one of the stemme_as_helicopter.air files?

Re: AFCADs for helicopters
An Afcad for helicopter traffic isnt' different, as for normal traffic. I do following steps: - create new airport with a new ID (I replace the first letter by the number 5 - e.g. 5JFK instead of KJFK, it's easier to assign the heliport) - create a runway with a length of 500 ft (not shorter) and ad...

Re: Russian Bases
Here is a very interesting website: http://www.ww2.dk/new/newindex.htm If you go through the differnet subjects, you will finally get informations about which units have been assigned to which air bases and with which airfcraft types at which period. The data seem to be reliable. Anyway, all lists a...

You don't specify whether you are using Mi-8 with FS9 oder FSX.

Do you mean Russian or Soviet air bases? Even if they mostly are the same, it isn't quite the same period.

Endless traffic
Is there a way to create an endless traffic file? I would like to have a drone flying an endless slope the whole day. I already tried with an Afcad as waypoint and a flightplan with TNG's for 24 hours. Unfortunately the drone goes back to the departing airport during the day. BTW, for this purpose I...
