FYI: Portugal still has 19 ex USAF F-16A/B ADF's which were upgraded to MLU standard but kept the ADF tail fairing so externally they are the same as the ADF model above.

Re: Michael 'Mike' Pearson - Saab 37 Viggen - P3Dv5
Yes, the package is FSX/P3D (all versions) compatible (MDL files are FSX Acceleration SDK format) and has just been moved to the final quality checks gate prior to release.

Nice images! Not that I will be moving to v5 anytime soon but nevertheless it is good to see the FSX/P3Dv4 conversions seem to work fine in v5.

Re: Is there a limit to the number of entries in the scenery cfg?
At least 1100 - this LM P3D forum discussion might be of interest:
http://prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=125070
But why anyone would need so many eludes me, I have less than 250 scenery.cfg entries and even then I do not have time to fly to all of those places.

Re: FSX T-45 Goshawk at NAS Meridian
Just like any other effects file, the dummy_fx file should be put in your FSX or P3D \Effects folder. You should replace the older version which causes the CTD's.

Re: FSX T-45 Goshawk at NAS Meridian
Edwin, my mistake - the Hawk pack was not revised, still v1.0. Conclusion: You need to grab the dummy.fx file from the link I provided above.

Re: FSX T-45 Goshawk at NAS Meridian
Edwin, this is a known bug, caused by the use of the stock dummy.fx file which on rare occasions causes a CTD. The current library file version of the Hawks package contains a fix created by Firebird, you can also get the correct dummy.fx file here: https://app.box.com/s/336y5fcry58t81qstf3zuvpmdx0r...

Re: MAIW MTAI Canadair CL-415 Superscooper Conversion Support
Philippe, I have no plans to add working landing gear, I leave that to the original developer to decide. The FS9 model seemed unfinished, it did not have a working landing gear and there were no LOD's. For performance reasons I added a simple "paper plane" LOD, nothing else.

If a *.fx file is the cause you would see visualfx.dll errors in your Windows Event viewer under Windows Logs - Application.

Re: FSX/P3D Trainer & Fighter Conversions
When 74 Sqn moved from Phantoms to Hawks in 1993, they had the grey ones. After 1993 they became black (at least that is what I conclude from my spotters archive). When I visited Valley in May 1997, I got these with 74 Sqn markings: XX186 black XX226 black w large tiger on tail XX303/TU black XX332/...

Jon, The FS9 Neptune can be found on AVSIM (ai_package__dutch_gmax_neptune.zip), the Mohawk was an unfinished model, not officially released and the FS9 Dolphin is in the MAIW library (AI Eurocopter HH-65 Dolphin). And yes, you should move on...

John, you need to uninstall all P3D modules. When you uninstall the Client, you will be prompted about whether or not you wish to deactivate Prepar3D. Select deactivate. Now you can install on another machine and activate your licence there. The detailed instructions are in this document: https://ww...

Did someone say Seakings? I submitted the FSX/P3D Seakings package back in August last year but they will not be released till someone finds the time to upload it to the library.

None of the AI helos you find here (or anywhere else) can be used as aicarriers (or RFN_CarrierGauge) plane guard. A plane guard model can be very simple, the rotor animation is just an always on ambient rotation. AI helo models are more complex, they have more animations which are a.o. triggered by...
