Birmingham, UK
Hello there, my company just received confirmation that we will receive a very good contract from a UK based automotive manufacturer. Being a Project Manager I will spend a lot of time soon in Birmingham, UK. I was there already for two days a few weeks back. In the past I took advantage of the chan...

Re: 787 fire again
Bet Airbus are having a cheeky champagne or two. Or they sh!t in their pants as they don't know what will happen with their ultra-modern technology jet A350. Just see the uncontained engine failure at the A380 or the wing cracks. Do not mis-understand: I am a fan of Airbus but two things make me wo...

Re: 777 down at KSFO
The Koreans are very very bright and smart so I was puzzled by their inability to fly an airplane well. They would show up on Day 1 of training (an hour before the scheduled briefing time, in a 3-piece suit, and shined shoes) with the entire contents of the FCOM and Flight Manual totally memorized....

Re: Germany: Phantom Pharewell
Born in East Germany my childhood favorites were gone (in Germany) shortly after reunification. But still I have some good memories of the Phantom from my military time in the 90's. The retirement of the Phantom and the introduction of the remaining Typhoons will go along with the reduction o...

Germany: Phantom Pharewell
Sad day: one more nation retires the Phantom. Yesterday at Wittmund AB a ceremony was held including flying display. I'll miss the smokers in our skies :( It will be replaced by the cleaner Typhoon. I think I keep them flying in my sim for some more time. Edit: A nice video of that day can be...

Grown up with Jean-Luc Picard the new Star Trek actors are really entertaining. But you should get your own impression. Enjoy the movie!

Piracy?
As I could not find it here yet and at AIG it is a big discussion about this guy already I thought some of you might want to start some action against him as he most probably includes MAIW and/or contributers stuff in his package he charges for: http://www.avcom.co.za/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t...

Re: WOAI installer
Be careful with the Peruvian package. It contains an error which might delete the fltsim entries of previous aircraft (only for the models to be installed).

Welcome back, Nick! Is it two years already? I still remember you posting about becoming your new-born
Nice to see you here again! If you come back - do it slowly. No need to rush and ending shortly where you have been before.

I also enjoyed the times in the Navy the most when we moved to other places.

Hm, almost no air defense over UK these days? This is our chance again. Oh no, wait, we do not have enough equipment to carry out such ops. Budget cuts Lucky you!
