Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
Sorry Gavin, I interpreted your request for a range of B200 models and paints, you didn't mention the RAF aircraft specifically. I did in fact make the RAF B200s to go with the FSX ACG RAF Cranwell scenery about 5 years ago. They are indeed in FSX native code. My fault John, I thought that as you w...

Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
gavinc I believe your are on about the 45sqn B200's that were released by Dinga69. These were done on the HTAI model for which there is a paintkit. I think these will work in FSX but someone else will have to confirm as I do not currently run FSX. Regards Nope - I am referring to the ACG King Air. ...

Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
Thanks John, quite understand. I wrongly assumed that since the B200s for RAF Cranwell were already done it would be a quick edit to modify them. The 300s/350s are enough for me to be getting on with at the moment Gavin, without getting into B200s in FSX code.
Thanks
Gavin

Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
Hi, Hate to be one of those begging types (but will be anyway). John, while you are King Air-ing would you consider updating the B200 model to include the versions with the Strakes (and the 3 & 4 blade props while I am being greedy). It would b great to have FSX native versions of the B200. Whil...

JY F-15s for Oregon ANG
Hi, In my FSX installation I am slowly replacing the older FS9 model F-15 with John Young's newer FSX native version as the talented painters here release paint schemes. I realized that I spent a lot of time flying in the Pacific North West (thank you ORBX for the gorgeous scenery) and so I thought ...

One has to start somewhere
Hi, I haven't done many repaints before (and certainly haven't done anything that is worthy of sharing :D) but one has to start sometime. Needed an AI Fennec for the French AF and couldn't find one. Looked at some photos and thought it was about as easy a repaint as was possible (one solid colour an...

Figured it out
Hi again, I knew it had to be something stupid at my end. I pulled the flight plan into AI Flight Planner again and looked at them when I suddenly realized that the flights were all set to only display at 100% activity level. I had my AI settings at 80%. Cranked it up to 100% et voila. Thanks for al...

Re: SAAF PC-7
Hi,
I replaced the model by the one out of the Oman kit and ran the aircraft.cfg file thru a re-number utility to make sure it was good.
Still no luck with the traffic. Bizzarely I made a basic test flight plan with the 6 Silver Falcons doing TNGs at FALW and they show up fine.

Thanks,
I was using the clean model from the Croatian airforce package. I will try again with the Oman Air Force model.

Re: SAAF PC-7
I noticed one thing, the copy of Milan's PC-9 that I was using had an FSX parking radius of 9 m. I set the wingspan back to 33 ft which brought the parking radius down to 6 m, but still no joy. I also stuck a panel and sound folder in the PC-9 folder to make sure that there wasn't anything wrong wit...

Re: SAAF PC-7
Hi, I can't seem to get the traffic to appear at Langebaanweg. I have installed the scenery file with it's own scenery.cfg entry and installed the traffic bgl into world/scenery .I can see that the airbase bgl is active but there are no aircraft appearing on any of the parking slots. AI traffic is w...

Re: RAF Cold War Traffic
Hi Arne, Thanks for releasing these, can never have enough early 60s RAF traffic. Over at CalClassics towards the end of last year there was an effort to create some RAF Transport Command traffic and repaints About 3/4 of the way down this page you should be able to find a download called Classic RA...

Re: Ai airliners from Ftx getting delete when MAIW in the state
Are you re-compiling the MAIW flight plans for FSX?
The traffic files that ship by default with the MAIW packages are compiled for FS9.
If you have FS9 and FSX traffic files in the same area the FS9 traffic will disable the FSX traffic.

Re: MKAI Puma/SuperPuma/Cougar
Hi,
Really appreciate all the work that has been put into all these different Puma variants so far, and not wanting to appear greedy but ....
Is there any possibility that an Atlas Oryx would be part of the family in the future?
thanks
Gavin
