Re: AI Aircraft Editor Version 4.2.1 released
And, now that we are pouring things upon poor Martin anyway, here's another screenshot. On the right, the field titled "AI removable sections" - in the blue field it says "only valied for AI aircraft", that description would maybe be clearer if it was to say "can be removed ...

Re: AI Aircraft Editor Version 4.2.1 released
I have seen the notifications you mention, they work. If a number in the sequence is missing and it does not affect how the AI aircraft operate, then I am good with it. Let's see if I can attach a screenshot... Jorgen Edit: this is a flyable aircraft that I use as an AI aircraft only. Some time ago,...

Re: AI Aircraft Editor Version 4.2.1 released
I deliberately introduced a gap in the numbering of the [fltsim] entries in aircraft.cfg. Up front, AIAE does not show this, but when I press the button "Show Aircrfaft Errors", it tells me the entries are not in sequence and to consider renumbering. On renumbering, I am now being told cor...

Re: AI Aircraft Editor Version 4.2.1 released
Trying to post again here: With P3D v5 selected as the simulator, the SimOblect Folders show 3 folders (didn't notice this before): Default Ground Vehicles Default Rotorcraft Default Airplanes I leave those generally alone, my AI work is done in "P3D V5 AI Aircraft", which is outside the s...

Re: AI Aircraft Editor Version 4.2.1 released
Trying again:
On first start, yes there was a big blank nothing. On restart, my AI aircraft folder was showing.
Jorgen
Edit: is there a maximum length to replies?

Re: AI Aircraft Editor Version 4.2.1 released
Ah I see, after a restart it showed me the correct folder, and I will try it out now in further detail.
I guess that what I was looking for was a way of manually selecting the folder of interest, like in the "old" version.
Thanks a lot -

Re: AI Aircraft Editor Version 4.2.1 released
Martin, I just installed the new version - and I cannot use it, at least not right out of the box. The problem is that I have both P3D v. 5 and v. 6 installed. The sim I mainly use is v. 5, which is installed on my H: drive (H:\P3D V5 folder), my v. 6 is installed on my C: drive (C:\P3D V6 folder). ...

I think Martin's radar achieved burn-through on the jamming!
I downloaded the package and everything is there now.

Re: Hoping someone here might be able to help
The default location for the traffic files is \Scenery\World\Scenery, and I have always kept mine there. If there are any other possible locations, then I don't know about them. But a quite different problem may be Windows permissions. The default installation location for FSX is C:\Program Files (x...

Re: ROKAF A330 MRTT FP ?
There are no problems with using flightplans, intended for the AIG model, with the MGAI model.
Just use the original [fltsim.x] entries in the MGAI's aircraft.cfg file, and change the "title=" lines to match the lines in the AIG flightplan.

Opinionated opinion: of the various versions of P3D, v. 5.4 for my money is the best one.

Looks great, John!
But please forgive my ignorance - I thought the only Cessna Caravans were the HTAIs? Where would the AIG one be available?
