Re: copyright question

The quick reply is: Yes, other peoples work is used with permission. While I don't believe it is against the law per se, it is bad form to not ask for permission to use another persons work. Especially if what you are using comes with a read-me that stipulates that you ask for permission. Not gainin...

Let's not hang the guy yet.
Could be a language barrier. But I'm sure Nick or someone from MAIW will be contacting him soon. :smt006

Oh yeah...thats pretty iffy.

Doesn't even give Nick credit in the read-me.

I'm sure Nick will take care of that post haste.

Re: My new website

Thank you Mark.
Now I don't have to scrounge the big library sites.
You've made it much easier for us all.

Keep up the good work too. It is much appreciated.

Re: Low flyover lands two Oceana pilots in hot water

Wow..simply amazing. And I'm sure that's what the crowd(s) thought too. How often do that many people get to see that if they don't go to an airshow. But, with that said, there is no way either of those fly-overs were accidental. They are training flights to begin with. The fly-over is just part of ...

Re: help the unsure

The refuel gauge in the Kirk Olsen viper works quite well.
Yes, it allow refueling from any AI aircraft. But if you know the location of a military refueling a/c that just makes it more believable.

I would think the gauge could be moved to any aircraft you wish with just a bit of work.

I have been able to use some of the CFS and older FS models as AI.

Re: WW2 aircraft

I have successfully used some CFS2 models as AI.
While they are from from perfect they do work and look quite good also. Just don't put too many into a small area.

The P51 and -47 mentioned previously are the way to go now.

Re: Hickam Field

Yes they will.
But you won't have them parking together and won't have drive thru parking, assuming there is drive thru parking there, like you would thanks to the MAIW AFCAD. Of course you can edit the one that comes with the scenery so they do.

Re: Parking Ramp Markings

You can use AFCAD or ADE to place large areas like in the photos. Just change the texture to concrete I believe.
