ADE (you want the latest development version (1.79)) comes from here. It is not an MAIW tool.
The process I described removes the default buildings, not the MAIW buildings.
The download hangar is currently disabled. We're doing our best to bring it back as soon as possible.

Re: Austrian Typhoons P3D
The first thing you should do is check for other instances of third-party scenery for this airfield. Make sure none are active except the MAIW scenery. With P3Dv5, very often the MAIW (and other) scenery will not exclude the default buildings or taxi signs. Also, Orbx scenery may sometimes display o...

Re: maiw C130 family FSX
It just means you have duplicate aircraft.cfg entries in your SimObjects folder. Somewhere you have another bunch of HTAI C-130s which are duplicated by some (or all) of what you've just installed. You have to find them and decide which version you want to keep and remove the unwanted version from t...

Re: Austrian Typhoons P3D
I have pretty much a full house of Orbx scenery, and that isn't an issue. The MAIW LOXZ is at a slightly lower elevation (676m) than reality (682m), but that shouldn't do this. However, it might be worth trying to make a new CVX file in ADE to see if that sorts it out. Only do this if you have ADE u...

Re: Austrian Typhoons P3D
It's fine in my P3Dv5.3, though the airfield boundaries suffer from some cliff action.

Re: Prepar3D v4 Add-ons, add-on.xml problem
I would guess that something has become corrupted in your xml file. I use Lorby's P3D Addon Organiser to look after all the under-the-hood xml stuff, and it works brilliantly.

Re: Tim's Trials...
Well, it sounds like you're working on the right lines. The default parking sizes as applied by ADE are way out for most MAIW aircraft, and do really need to be adjusted appropriately. It's well worth having AI-Aircraft Editor.NET on your system to easily check what sizes your target aircraft are lo...

Re: Tim's Trials...
When you convert MAIW sceneries to P3Dv5, it's well worth checking that the parking radii match the intended aircraft. Many MAIW sceneries were designed for FS9, which used a different aircraft/parking protocol to FSX/P3D. Aircraft parking priorities within the sim may mean that even nominated parki...

Re: Moody A-10 Repaints
The problem (for me) is that the aircraft has items of ground equipment which are present when it's shut down. In FS9, they disappear at (I believe) the 15 minutes to go point, but that signal isn't available in FSX/P3D. John Young has alluded to the issue several times in discussing his AI designs,...

Re: Tim's Trials...
An aside... I was doing some investigative work on an LIRF scenery for a query over at FSDeveloper, and though I'd have a look at LIRE in P3Dv5.3 while I was there. This is a John Stinstrom scenery which I modified to place it on a new photoreal background and to match the current layout of the airf...

I haven't progressed the RWAI conversion as there seemed little point - and it needs skills that as yet I don't possess!

Re: Don Grovestine
All of his Stuff4FS projects have been handed over to Arno at FSDeveloper. I have no idea if Arno has any intention of continuing to improve them, or simply to host them for future users. However, they aren't lost and will continue to be available, at the very least.

Re: Tim's Trials...
At YUAS, we used to use Swinderby as an RLG and also to take our cadets for 'survival' exercises (mainly an excuse for the staff to drink beer and drive cars at silly speeds all over the airfield!).

Re: Tim's Trials...
Update on the Type J hangar. The individual hangar modelled is one of the three at RAF Swinderby, which were destroyed between 2007 and 2017). It's almost unmodified from its construction in 1940. Swinderby was just about the last expansion-period airfield, and so a real rarity with many 1936-style ...

That’s kind of you, but I’m happy to do it with SBuilderX. I think it achieves the same thing.

I’m up to a build beyond the number you reported, Steve, and FS9 (and FSX) are still fine in Win11.
