New packages

It has been mentioned that there are MAIW packages that are now ready for release & once AVSIM is back up and running they will be published. Is there any reason that these packages cannot be released via Flightsim.com and then on AVSIM when they get back up online ???

Firebird Our golden rule, and in all documents, says that all earlier afcads with the same name should be removed. So I would say that AF2 file should be archived, you never know you might want it back one day. However you did touch on another option which is to rename one of them and alter the rel...

Vulcan XH558 saved (for now)

Well it looks like the fundraising effort has been a success and XH558 should hopefully be on the Airshow circuit next year.

It says V2 on the MAIW homepage and the zip creation date is different from when first created: First version created 18/02/09 size 20,968,577bytes Updated version created 05/03/09 size 20,968,577bytes Reason I asked was because the filesize was the same and I cannot as yet see any obvious differenc...

Follow-up to my previous post

Not sure if file "MAIW_AF2_0SSC.bgl" is used by any other MAIW Traffic files and so should probably be left in the addon Scenery\Scenery folder.

Problem is different from Keith though, my crash comes whenever I try to create a flightplan using the inbuilt flightplanner. If I try to create a manual flightplan as soon as I tr...

Still snowing in Leicestershire. Got sent home from work after battling my way in. Sensible decision really as driving an LPG tanker in these road conditions is not fun. Am now sampling the "joys" of daytime TV
