Re: Repaints for FAB UH-60, UH-1, etc
I have them too and bought FS Repaint just to paint them. I "stole" some textures from the J. Moore Hovercontrol models. Right now I have a base USA UH-60 and a very basic USAF HH-60, starting some USN MH-60's. I just started repainting, so I have alot to learn and I am sure some of the ex...

Nice job. There a few one-off models for flying for "special" groups throughout the US. Some have civilian regs some don't.

There are repaints out for the free M.Stone/K.Ito/Alphasim model as well. I only fly the Aerosoft model now for a VA.

Re: RAF Merlin crash at NAF El Centro
We do as well, and train for them prior to deployment to the Sandbox. We also are required to practice them once we arrive in theater, normally in Kuwait. Our Army was testing software to allow one to land from a hover in these brown-out conditions without a outside reference. There are different te...

Re: SNJ/AT-6
Looked up their N numbers and owner Alan Henley is based in Birmingham AL. Also flightaware has a recent flight posted for N791MH. So, one would think KBHM would be right.

Dust landings under NVG's = not fun. Glad everyone got out and hope those injured recover fast.

I posted the question on the Airshowbuzz.com forums. Maybe even one of the pilots will respond back to me.

Great shots. I have a few of their models, but only fly military based aircraft My only complaint with the P-8 was the lack of panel. Nice panel on this one.

Re: A question to you talented repainters...
Actually I must mention I had a member of my VA that does repaints talk me through the MDLMat program to get the rest of the AF F18 models without shine. He experimented with the program first and just passed the info. I only touched the "specular" zone.

Re: West Coast ANG package by MAIW
I have it below the custom sceneries and above the default locations. I was going to see if someone could post a pic of the proper set up if there is one. Looks like everything is good again. That explains why KLMT and KPDX loaded up with no parking issues.

Re: West Coast ANG package by MAIW
Never had this issue before. I follow the read me as ususal and remove any dublicate AFCADs for the given airports. I generally like to fly to a new package area from another aiport. I checked to make sure I only have the MAIW_xx AFCADs, good there. KBOI,KFAT, KSLC, KRNO act the same, aircraft not i...

Re: West Coast ANG package by MAIW
Nothing major, but the old DB KBOI Afcad had all the A-10's lined up on the ramp. This one has them scattered throughout the airport.

Re: Aggressor Super Hornet
james, Head over to the forums at VRS and you will find that paint. I believe someone is working on the brown scheme as well, although real world it is applied to a F-18F. Oops, too fast, did read your post. The paint is for the VRS. I am not sure if anyone has painted the free FS-KBT model in that ...

Re: A question to you talented repainters...
Fastair, Look over at flightsim for the Spanish AF photoreal repaint for the AF Hornet. In the read me, there is instructions on how to remove this. There is an additional program you will have to download to remove the shine from the model itself, not in the textures. I have used this on all my AF ...
