There was a HH-3 project going on over at hovercontrol.com for FS9. The developer has some great projects, but they never tend make it to the completion stage.

hawk sh,
You use some of the AFCAD waypoints from other MAIW packages to get the jets out to the VACAPES and other warning areas, and of course NFE should be busy weekdays. I have not seen any scenery objects for "hot" refuel pits, which would be the ones on the taxiways next to runway 5R.

Yes it does by using Jim's original NTU scenery, it's not pretty but works and I like the change in LOD when you get in close. Now if I can get one added out at NOLF Fentress...

Thanks guys I will look into the site suggested or make the changes myself. I remember a long time ago having an issue with the PAI C-17, seemed it was a aircraft.cfg issue as my CHS/LTS/TCM C-17's didn't show until I fixed the .cfg file.

Hmm, just downloaded and installed within my normal PAI C-17 aircraft folder. Slewed up to KDOV and not a single C-17 on the ground, only "HL" F-16's and a KC-135, anyone else have an issue?

Had the same issue, which seemed as the magnetic variation was off at least 90 degrees, was told to check for an AFX or FSX scenery .bgls withing my FS9 folders. Found a few in my FS9/Addon Scenery folder and deleted them, no issues since.

Combat Aircraft Magazine

Current magazine has a huge and somewhat current USAF profile article with bases+aircraft assigned. Good source for future packages, or just to add to other current resources everyone uses online now.

Lewis,
Great job and looks way better than the older AI Sea King I have flying around as station SAR. The flightline at NAS Jax looks great, I was stationed there in the 90's, at the time we had HS-1 and USNR HS-75 still flying them.

Nice Lewis, come back and crew for me. Having a Navy background and very used to watching fast movers come in to a NAS for the break. I can't convince anyone to do it, besides the Army controller wouldn't understand my request! Now I just joke about, "Hey lets do the break".

Above all correct and also used in a "combat" environment, as stated, as to not have the landing aircraft drag in the approach. For the helos, USN/USMC students do the "break" the TH-57's at NAS Whiting Fld South, probably just a carry over from primary flight training in the T-34.

Just the Blues and transit Hornets. Standards are:

T-1
T-39
T-6
T-45 (replaced T-2)
T-34

Everything doing practice approaches:
Mobile USCG ATC HH-60/65's AL NG UH-60's
Eglin F-15's
Every service C-130's.

Been a few years now since the Arkansas ANG traded their Vipers for Hawgs at Ft. Smith Regnl. You can find them in the "Southeast" ANG package.
