Lewis, I figured on the A-6. I have FD4 as well and all of the "AI" are high on polys in ACM, not very AI friendly. Still using the OAI F-18's for now...

Great shots. I'm using the freeware AP Designs GR.7, matched well with the AI Harriers, but the drop tanks on the GR were off.

I gave up on NJK and just flew out of NYL/Yuma. Now with the USMC Harrier package on the verge of release, more reason to stay. I would put my work into the other OLF's around NAS North Island instead.

I dealt with this first hand in my Navy helicopter squadron after a class A mishap which killed 2 aviators and 1 SEAL. We were deployed as well making matters worse.

I was testing the AFCAD without scenery first just to check it out. Everything seemed fine, but Hill Tower was using the wrong runway (rwy 32) for the current real world downloaded winds....and 15kt winds at that, out of the southeast. "Rude" flight came in with the lead Viper disappearing...

Mike, be glad to see the skins until the other AI Bug comes out. I have scenery for NAS Lemoore/North Island/Whidbey Island/Oceana/Jax. Mayport would be great to go along with my AI SH-60B's.

Do what I do, just watch the screenies on the home page for the new projects about to be released once ready. This is one at the top of my waiting list.

Agree Lewis, as I don't have the time or skills to repaint. I have the T-1 paints with both white and gray jets, only 2 tail numbers each, but I'm happy with that. Just trying to get the wide Texas skies filled now that I live here.

To go with this post, and it might of have been asked before, I have some non-AI birds being used (Hovercontrol UH-60's), can I change the textures to DXT3 format and/or remove the Alpha to save on FPS?

Just make sure you replace the AFCAD. I've had to do this with a few of the ANG packages, I try to use the latest MAIW supplied AFCADs. You should have plenty of parking for the ANG transit Hawgs.
