Nice, which photo scenery is that? I have several AFCADs for Nellis, but could quickly adjust one to fit the scenery.

I like the AMARC idea, besides I need a KDMA package anyway to complete my recently purchased A-10 from Asoft. Maybe just one jet (not every airframe currently at AMARC) from each package to represent the hard work by the MAIW crews.

Jump, check with you father on this, I do have the NATOPS for the "D" model but would have to dig it out of storage. I do know the B and D F-14 are restricted from AB take offs in case of an engine failure. I've read up on the procedures for the F-15E, normally on the brakes to run up of 8...

Pretty standard Iraqi veg, and lots of sand. The airfield sits in a slight valley, and is in the middle of a the city.

H3 doesn't look like that now. Flown over it in 2005 while supporting the USMC.

You would be fine putting AI helos in and out. To the south is Balad AB, a major airbase, you could have AI cargo flights going in and out, including IL-76's. As mentioned above, due to OPSEC, I can't go into the many other airframes flying. I understand why you would want AI there, but having been ...

I guess just about every USN squadron has been painted, so I don't have to figure out to paint.

There is, but why would you want to sim this real world "situation"? It's not a good place to be and in the early parts of OIF is was worse.

Javier,
Well, great question and I am on another forum with real world USAF instructors that have taught in both airframes. Just reading from what they say, the T-6 is the better platform, but the Tweet has was a good buy. Now if I can get my hands on one for civilian flying!

Check out the NEUMAI newer package. The H-60s H-1 OH-58's use this version of helipad as a mini-runway. Works very well as the AI helos don't taxi to the runway and tie up the P3's. They take off in a few hundred and climb out like a fixed wing, but its the only way.

Love those pics. Might have to put down my IRIS Tomcat and fly one of the AI birds around.

Anyway to mod the .cfg to have the speedbrakes deployed with the flaps?

Great photos! Love that new C-130J, looks just like the one in the recent LRAFB MAIW package. The stickers are tradition, there called "Zappers" or Zap's for short. Kind of a practical joke to play on other flight crews. I always trying to find weird and out of the way places to hide them,...

The Hovercontrol H-60's are about as close as you are going to get, but I use them and they are not too bad on framerates. There is a Pavehawk version, but forget about using that one, the IFR probe alone probably has tons of poly's.

My AFCAD seems fine from a visual standpoint, but something is off with my mag. variation around ATL/MGE/VPC and further south. Basically any aircraft's HSI is off from 90 to 180 degrees. I had this issue in FS2k2, and was told it was due to having AF2 files in my scenery folder, which I found and d...
