Had you just started the sim? Weird thinks happen with AI traffic in the first 10 mins of starting at a location.

No Steve i was filming for about 30 minutes before hand! i had 2 Chinooks arrive, a few Tornados come and go F-15s leaving loads of Hawks in and out and plenty more! i agree though strange things do happen! i had a fireball in the sky a while back must have been doing 600mph atleast, i never found out what it was!!

Much thanks

Hi,

as it happens...

I have had a Puma doing a merry jig along the taxiway on the way to the runway in RAF Benson EGUB, bouncing up and down, issuing large clouds of smoke, bursting into flames and then disappearing! (The whole sad sorrowful and frustrating story in the 33 Squadron thread in AI Repaints on this forum).

It doesn't happen when I replace the aircraft with, for instance, a Merlin.

Thanks

Walter
Thanks,

Walter

Much thanks

I'd certainly be fine with it, maybe having them in the download library will spur someone on more!

I would offer, but my flightplanning ability and knowledge of where each aircraft would need to be sent leaves something to be desired  .

While watching some AI I saw that the main landing gear on the helicopters were disappearing when looking at the model at certain angles (the nose landing gear was fine) then they would re-appear when I moved closer to the model. Is this a part of the model? Or maybe I installed the paint wrong?

I use FS9 and the paints I saw with the disappearing landing gear were the Swiss Air Force, Chile Navy, and Brazil Navy (I didn't look at any of the other paints).

Joseph,
Is it when looking from long distance or close look?
If it's long distance then it is due to poly reduction but this feature is on LOD_50 and else until LOD_10.

That's what it probably is. I have had these helicopters installed since they came out and this is the first time I noticed the disappearing landing gear.
