Palmdale F-15SAs

Post by ricki429 »

Really wanted these flying in my sim so managed to get the 4 I know of painted up on the JYAI D model...

Also a few months ago I knocked up the rest of the Miramar V-22 squadrons:

And the Discovery Air Skyhawks in Germany:

A couple of rescue choppers for Tenerife:

Not AI but this is my trusty steed I did a couple years ago - if only!

By no means would I call myself a painter but rather than ask all the time I thought I'd give it a go!
I'll try and get these uploaded somewhere at some point for anyone wanting them.

Wow !!

You can upload them in the MAIW Hangar first.

I'm interested by Discovery A-4's and the Teneriff Helos

Really I would call yourself a painter. Great job and also wanted to get the A4s in. In your Osprey paints, did you add the Camp Pendleton VMM?

There is no reason to hide! They are looking really good.
And be aware that painting can get really addictive at times...

Do you have a paintkit for that Sokol W-3?

Did someone say Camp Pendleton?

I'm working on the outlying fields for the scenery right now. The V-22s were used to test the Twentynine Palms EAF scenery.

Is anybody having trouble with the F-15's appearing at Palmdale. I can't decompile the flightplans with Traffic Tools. I have other ai aircraft appearing at Palmdale but not the F-15's.

Regards Paul Day.

Sorry to hear that...Is that FSX? I tested them before I uploaded so can only guess something might be up with the installation?
If still not working by the time I'm back home Wednesday night drop me a PM.

Converts nicely to FS9.

The FP looks as if all the flying is done between 0100 and 0730 Local times ie night time.

Hi all, has someone converted the V-22 textures in FS9 format?
If not, I think there is a way to batch-convert them automatically (with Imagetool?...) Can someone point me in the right direction?
Last question. In the package of V-22 there is also a AFD for 1KNX in FSX format in order to split the traffic from KNKX.
How can It be used in FS9?

Thanks in advance, Giorgio.

Thanks Hartwig, but it doesn't seem to be what I need.
The original texture from the package is 2048x2048 DXT3, 5.462 Kb, alpha, 10 mips (open with Imagetool)
After using the batch, the texture is 2048x2048 DXT3, 4.097 Kb, alpha, 1 mips
Also, it is true that I don't know so much about FSX (almost nothing) but if I'm not wrong, a texture created for FS9, has to be rotated to be used in FSX.
I presume the same must be done reversing the process.
Here I have the same orientation

What I need, is the opposite described by Greg here:
http://www.militaryaiworks.com/forums/4 ... %20convert

Thanks, Giorgio
